Exactly. And say what we say about Allen (who I never liked coming out) but Josh ranks 4th in passing yards, 15th in completion percentage, 2nd in TDs thrown and THIRD in QB Rating!!!! And let's not even talk about his rushing numbers because he's great in that regard too. He really is a dual threat he can run and his arm is a cannon.

Sam? Lol. 32nd and DEAD LAST in QB Rating and all his other numbers are damn near last place too. His arm strength is awful too; just ask Robby who was overthrow and underthrown at least 30x by Sam.

And one more thing. Allen shows heart and fire on that football field. That's my biggest complaint about Sam. He puts his head down like Sanchez used to. Plays with absolutely 0 fire.

Jet fans can no longer talk about Josh Allen sucking when we would die to see Sam ranked top 5 across the board.

You actually think Josh Allen is a franchise QB after 6 games of this half-ass season. He’s had a terrible past two games...

Dude. He was able to make the playoffs last year with 20 TDs thrown only 9 INTs and an 85.3 QB Rating. Over 3,000 yards passing. Another 500+ rushing yards and 9 rushing TDs!

and this year lol he's 2nd in passing TDs, 3rd in QB Rating and 4th in passing yards and has also ran for 143 rushing yards and another 3 rushing TDs!

His last two bad games have been better than 3 of 4 of Sam's games this year lol.

And you actually think Sam Darnold is a FRANCHISE QB 3years later?!?!? The kid ranks 32nd dead last!!!!

If Josh Allen were putting up Sam's #s? You'd laugh him off as biggest bust ever and if Sam EVER put up these #s throughout 6 games as Josh has you'd crown him king of NY.

Are you talking about a different Josh Allen? LOL

He's thrown for 16 TD, 4 INT, and a QB rating of 108.

Uhhh yeah, he looks really good

Don't forget his dual threat ability and rushing #s too. He'd be calling Sam a franchise QB with THOSE NUMBERS!

Have you watched Bills last two games? He’s missing wide open receivers. The TD number does not tell the story. He’s getting turnovers and great field position from his defense.

The Defense is just as important to a young QB as an OL. We have Perine, we have Mims. and Crowder. We can pick up another vet and quality WR late in the draft. We're going to need our D to bail out our QB when the time comes. You see it now... they go down 7-0 early, and Sam starts pressing... trying to make every throw and every play count.

It didn't seem that way against Baltimore! Even earlier in the year against the Browns he would stand in the pocket as it was collapsing before making his throws rather than scampering off to avoid the hits like Darnold or Mayfield have.

Maybe all we need is Curtis Martin, Wayne Chrebet and Keyshawn Johnson.

Doesn't sound like he was comparing them... moreso finding fault in the team and coach.

The fallacy in your argument is that you are taking the best two QB's of the last two decades as your example. They are way more QB's that didnt live up to expectations. Here's facts.... if you dont win a SB by year 5 with a QB you drafted, chances are you wont win a SB with that QB. Teams know this. This is how you move on from a Rosen, from a Mariota, from a Winston, from a Trisbusky. This is why I expect the Jets to start getting the team together first. Then install the rookie QB, and get the best 5 years out of him. Brady obviously is the exception. Now if you simply want a Matt Ryan or Matthew Stafford then that's another story. Watson just got his contract, so OBrien got fired. This is why Wentz is on the hot seat.

Carolina though has a league leading receiver in Robby Anderson. We don't have anybody anywhere near that good here :)

Yeah I watched both of them. And what I see is a franchise QB who is very good that is still very young and not at the level of a guy like Patrick Mahomes, which has become the standard, unfortunately.

Allen is your classic young franchise QB who is still learning the sport at a high level but still producing great stats and winning games. The Bills went from an irrelevant franchise to now 1st in the AFC East and a playoff contender two years in a row. A LOT of that is Josh Allen.

Your assessment of him is just wrong, on so many levels. Hell, even last year he threw for over 3,000 yards, 20 TD, and 9 INT.

Before the Kansas City game he had a QB rating of 122.

The guy balls. Plain and simple. I hate the Bills just as much as the next guy, but Josh Allen is legit

Another asshole opines. Wait a year, and THEN get on the shittiest team a that time, which may be even worse than the Jets, or can be the Jets too. And give up millions and risk injury in the process, while nothing left to prove in College. Darn, this motherfer is dumb as a rock.

There is no fallacy in my argument. The fallacy is yours. Once you have the team built, you aren't in a position to get a great QB. I've been watching the NFL since 1963. I've seen countless times how teams get their QBs and when.

QB is THE most important position on your team. You don't often have a chance to draft an elite QB. When you do, you have to take him. Anything else is lunacy.

ROFLMAO! Whatever. All the defense can do for a young QB is to give the offense more possessions. If that young QB has a shit OL or doesn't have any weapons around him, all the possessions in the world won't mean anything.

Your approach is the same insane crap the Jets did with Sanchez and now Sam. You must be Mac or Rex. GTFO
