He does snap like a jerkoff. Every center in the NFL has the nose of the football facing the goal line. Our guy has to turn it perpendicular?
I imagine every player on the roster is up for sale, with the exception of Becton. I think JD is going to get rid of a few players before the deadline
McLendon is probably ecstatic. His family is in Georgia and he gets to go to a contender. He was a fantastic Jet and wonderful person to meet.
It always happens before playoff time, but it's much earlier this year. I'm looking forward to the off-season.
Do you think he even got on the plane? The ticket agent probably took his boarding pass and said "Come with me".
Im happy for McClendon and don’t really give two shits about anything regarding the Jets until Gase is gone but this just isn’t a good trade. A 6th round pick two years from now for a quality starter? Doesn’t matter the age or contract, he’s a legitimate starting player.
In a season where the Jets are 0-6 and not going anywhere, getting anything for a player who will not be with the team in 10 games is good. Put it this way, if McLendon finished the season, he might become a 7th round 2022 comp pick. This trade guarantees a 6th round 2022. You also gotta realize this is probably the only team in the league interested in McLendon for a 10 game rental.
Good for McLendon. He's stuck through a lot of crap, just like us fans, and he deserves better. With the Steelers' LB Devin Bush out for the season, maybe we'll see Avery Williamson gone, too.
this is getting kind of scary. it gives me the heebie jeebies to think that maybe just maybe the idiot owner thinks that this gm and this hc are the guys to blow it up and rebuild it. they are getting abused like a battered partner by their sociopathic head coach and boss.
