I don't see this one. Poole is a fine player, but he costs so little that there is no salary dump aspect and what could the Jets get back? A 5th? Never say never but I just don't see the point unless they can get a bit more than that in return which I doubt. Crowder is looking good and on pace for 1,500 yards so I suppose he could have some trade value, and costs around $10 million per year. Yet, he's the only legitimate offensive skill player so still it makes little sense. I also would have said cutting Bell now would be very unlikely so what do I know.
If Crowder goes I will seriously wonder what the hell is going on. We have tons of cap space already, and he would just create a hole that we would need to fill at around the same cost. He's really good and just about the only consistent player for Sam to throw to. This has to be bullshit, doesn't it?

Incarcerated Bob is usually wrong but if trading crowder and poole would all but cement 0-16. Poole is a free agent in 2021 and the jets will save 10.5 million if they cut crowder in 2021. I doubt any team would trade for poole given they can get him for free in a few months and crowder is someone i would look to sign to extension but given how inept we are, we will likely need to overpay to retain him
