I said this when the season first started--this season was going to be BRUTAL. We are, by far, the worst team in the league. It's not close. Right now, the Giants are hiding the ugliness of our situation more than it should be.

We currently have the worst roster, the worst coaching staff and worst culture.

If our current GM, who I actually like, is the real deal....he should fire the entire coaching staff, training staff and any remaining Mac scouts this offseason. We need to purge this whole thing and hope players still want to come here.

My problem is, that it’s “Jet like” to jettison Bell, and then weeks later get rid of Gase. The next coach would know how to use him. This one doesn’t, but we end up with neither. It’s the type of constant incongruity we’ve become famous for.

It's not that letting Bell go was a terrible move. It makes sense from the standpoint that he's not being used properly and not earning his salary and it will eventually free up cap space. No, what's really fucking disturbing is that the REAL problem is still employed by the Jets! What this move really boils down to is that every game that Bell was here, proved beyond any doubt that Gase couldn't figure out how to use him, and that highlighted what a dumbfuck he is. THAT'S why Bell is gone.

 

I wonder if Mosely can "like" his way outta town too after opting out.. Hmmmmm

 

I don’t disagree but bell was only going to be here for 11 more games anyway. If doing this clears the way to get a good look at perrine than that’s really the best case scenario since they refuse to fire Gase.
The injury guarantees being taken at of the picture for 2021 is a good point too.

 

I don’t expect Mosely to ever dress in Jet green again...I could see him asking to be released or traded also
