Yea the more I think about it, I think Gase is gone after this season. He doesnt make it past the bye week with Sam starting. He's going to rest Sam this week.

What's truly awful is how indifferent I am. Keep him...dump him. 2020 is a dumpster fire anyway. The Jets and Texans had entirely different expectations coming into the season. The Texans are trying to salvage their season; that in no way, shape or form has any relevance on the Jets and what they should do comparably.

My Gut reaction is "fire now" because Gase deserves it in countless ways But I am so disgusted atm that I am just numb to this team..so as the saying goes "give a man enough rope he will hang himself" I voted Gase to work the next 12 games and prove without a shadow of doubt that J and J have to send him away,,with Chris eating a lot of crow Plus we are guaranteed boy wonder Lawrence Sam may have to suffer a bit or hardly play due to injury This season is really just becoming an exercise in futility
I still think Douglas was a good hire. I would like to see what he can do with hiring the next coach. Also, we got a ton of draft picks coming up.
That's the problem we've seen worst we've gone numb. I would rather go with a new hire than a retread. Gase was a retread from our own division. Bowles was a new hire but an idiot. We need a 2020 version of Parcells. Someone successful with rings who would command respect right away. You think anyone in this organization respects Gase?
