It would have never worked with Mahomes, Watson however wasn't an excuse Fitzpatrick wasn't going to take us anywhere but then again seeing what we did for Darnold it was better that we didn't ruin Watson's career

Rams are basically asking the Giants to beat them.

Our offense might be bad, but the Giants have gone 8 quarters without scoring a TD.

Third team today down 14 points scores a touchdown, but the Raiders eschew the analytics and kick the extra point rather than going for 2. Doesn't matter, as Buffalo recovers the onside kick.

NFC East is looking bad this year.

    What happened to the Cowboys?

I thought they had a good offseason.

Who's going to stack the box with OBJ & Landry on the outside?

Cleveland has some superstuds. Garett is a monster.

What the Niners are doing with so many starters out is truly remarkable one of the most hard to believe things I've seen.

the whole team functions because they run the ball for 300 yards a game...it's not a coincidence Mayfield is playing solid and OBJ had his first great game in 2 years....like usually the people obsessed with stars are focusing on the wrong thing.

This isn't even a data thing, it's a common sense thing. Assuming you ultimately score twice (otherwise it's meaningless), if you kick the extra point the first time, then your options the second time are 2 points for the win or 1 point for overtime. Either way, you basically have a 50/50 shot of winning. Whereas if you go for two the first time, if you get it, you just kick the extra point for the win, and if you miss it, you still have a shot of sending it to overtime with a 2 pointer. So your overall odds of winning will be better than 50/50.

    Faithful to the Bay.

Nice little jab by the 49ers to you know who.

Oh and insane play by the 49ers rookie WR Aiyuk on that TD.

I think seeing him destroy the Raiders today I've officially decided that with the benefit of hindsight if I could go back and have the Jets not make that trade, draft Josh Allen, and keep all those picks I would now do it. I've seen enough. As suspected, this guy is a monster and only getting better.

I think there are now really only two nitpicks with him. 1) that he'll make a reckless bad decision in a big spot and 2) that he'll at some point get injured trying to do too much. But honestly.... whatever.

Absolutely terrible pick six for Mullins, and it looks like the Eagles will move into first place in the NFC East with a 1-2-1 record.

And Mullins gets pulled and CJ Beathard is in.

Brook do you dislike the Seahawks because of Jamal Adams or something else?

That and we have their first round pick for 2021 so, yea.

The 1:00 pm games were great, the 4 pm slate, not so much. It was awesome to watch teams move the ball up and down the field at will.

I also noticed this thing where a QB woud return to the sidelines after a series and there would be a coach or fellow QB talking to the starter and going over plays and decisions with them.

Perhaps something the Jets could look at adopting?

Gase is playing 4D Chess. What you described is dumb because the other team can spy on you and steal your signals. So it's better not to coach the QB in-game.
