    We will get blown out on national tv, it will be one of my worst moments as jet fan. Like 1996 game vs Carolina. But at least Gase will be gone. How ironic vs Denver.

    Hopefully, along with a six-year contract, Douglas secured the right to hire the next HC. If not, the next HC may be no better than Gase.

    Maybe we should take up a collection with which to bribe Chris Johnson's secretary that if Peyton Manning or any former NFL player calls to recommend a candidate, that she hangs up on him and never tells Johnson that anyone called.

    Sorry guys..... I told Chris that with this roster I would require a 6 year contract at 5mil per. They balked on the length of the contract. :(

    I don't get it? Are we trying to hire away a coordinator midseason?

    Doesn't seem to be a legitimate rumor. A legit rumor would be "Jets rumored to promote Williams to head coach if/when Gase is fired," or something of the like.
