Every defense seems to be struggling. Our offense is just so bad it makes our average defense look worse.

Our defense gave up 20 points yesterday after our offense spotted them 16.

Also - either Malone/Ashtyn Davis suck or the kick return blocking sucks. But our average starting field position has been awful.

Nearly everything is bad at this point.

    poor tackling.

There has been instances of the mental errors, yesterday when that tight end was left wide open in the middle of the field for example. But even when they are in the right position it doesn't matter because they can't bring down the ball carrier

I have to believe that was on McDougald or Maye. He got behind the linebackers and was glaringly open. The safety needs to close that gap.

To me it looked like the whole D came out flat yesterday. I know we lack talent but they looked extra zombie. They are not gelling as a unit and I got a feeling there is resentment in the locker room.

Defense chasing shadows as no pass rush whatsoever - Rivers will (and did) shred that sort of D.

Best offensive plays seem to be broken plays - runs or broken pass plays where Gore/Perine/ Darnold created out of nothing. Can't really defend Darnold though as his OL was so poor so no time to try to find receivers who don't help as they can't separate.

We can slow down a teams running game but are incapable of anything else. Our CB play has been bad and I don't think our LB's are performing well in coverage either.

Williams is no dummy. But he doesn't have much to work with either

Add Jamal and subtract McDougald and we're still 0-3. Of course it would help the defense but he'd be a pouting shit

I noticed the blocking yesterday. When we do get the other team to punt there is an opposing player standing behind Berrios before the ball even gets there forcing him to fair catch deep in our territory bc he can't let it go past him.

Prior to this year I think Boyer did a really good job at coaching up the ST unit and fixing what was a horrible issue in 2016-2018 and did so with a roster that has had horrible depth issues.

It looks really bad this year though. I don't know why we let Cannon go and I think the fact that we keep 4 million defensive lineman and big run stopping outside linebackers is why the ST unit is struggling.

Looking at the state of our defense I can only come to one conclusion.

Put Jamal Adams in Canton now.

Seattle hasn’t given up less than 25 points this year.
