Our beloved J-E-T-S will do that to you. They wear us down. It doesn’t mean that we don’t love them. It just means that we are worn out, and need a little space right now. Whenever the team gets like this, I just record the game to watch when it is more convenient for me. Fast forward is my friend. I am not staying home on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to watch 3-4 hours of a hot mess. If they don’t care enough to put a better product on the field, why should I?

Last year was one of the first years I have dreaded watching Jets games. It seems like work rather than something to look forward too. I will watch to see how Sam does but I will be happier when the season ends. We wait all year for the start of the year and this is what we get. I don't recall being this upset watching the Jets ever even in the 70s which was really awful as everyone knew the highlight of the season was the game against the Giants in thepre-season then was wait until next year . Sometimes I think life would have been much better if I chose the Giants or Pats but then I realize those fans are assholes. Better to have character then spenda lifetime with assholes. I would like l just a little less character. It is tough to be a fan in the Adam Gase era. Turns out Jamal Adams might have been pretty smart. But F him too. I can forgive Adams he did not grow up a Jet fan and he was smart enough to find a way out. The guy I feel bad for is Levon Bell. He grew up a Jet fan and signed here to come home and help us turn things around instead he has had Gase wreck his career and destroy his chance at the HoF.

Fair. But did you read what I wrote to you? I wasn't shaming you there. I was shaming the Jets to make long time fans like you and me feel like that. I even asked another long time fan Cman if he is chosing the spend his time fishing instead of watching the Jets. We have the same pain man. I wasn't criticizing you. Chill.
Even with Todd Bowles there was still hope...The day we hired Gase hope went out the window.Could you imagine how diffrent the state of the franchise might be if we hired Mcarthy?The players dont respect Gase.....You cant win like this.

I pray for the day that i can convince myself NOT to watch and end my misery. If 1-15 didnt do it (I was at the 1 game we won at AZ then I dont see it happening anytime soon.

Watch in ways they can't measure like illegal streaming. Let the ratings on jets games drop. get all your Jets news from sites not or less affiliated with the Jets themselves and the League. No clicks means no add dollars. it's the only way to hurt the Johnson's.
The Johnsons are lucky there's nobody in the stands booing the shit out of this team. The optics are a lot better with an empty stadium and piped in cheers. Problem is, the TV images are telling the tale instead of the Johnson Spin Machine and of course, Adam "The Genius" Gase.
It won't matter what players we draft or acquire until this ass clown Gase is fired. Then Douglas's real work begins and he needs to find a football architect/experienced HC to build this thing. This is all very circular with the Jets and has been done ad nauseum but this is the next step in this neverending process to be relevant most years.
As another poster mentioned, the teams not competitive, and this has increased year on year for the last 4 years now. Theres only so many times you can watch blowout after blowout without withdrawing. I watch and my better half is a ravens fan so i often now choose to watch the jets on a little side screen on gameday. It took less than 60 seconds for us to lose the game last week, and i laughed at that first td. I'm here, im hanging about but why should i put more energy into caring. I went from watching the full four quarters to flipping streams every now and then as soon as we hired Gase. That hire just sucked out any fun for me and now I have to force myself to try stay engaged for any length of time. I still really don't know how anyone could look at his body of work and feel that this is the guy we need(ed).
