    Of course not

    He’s absolutely terrible

    Very slow at age 39

So why don’t they ever draft a legit RB?

It’s like the organization thinks you only win if the other team outscores you

What is wrong with this franchise?

Why do they think (until Douglas was hired) using 1st and 2nd round draft picks on defensive players is how you build a team?

Let’s trade up to draft our franchise QB and then not draft players at the only positions — WR, RB, OL — that will support his development

    It’s not 1985 anymore

They’ve changed the rules to heavily favor the offense

QBs routinely throw for 4500 yards

    WRs routinely catch 100 balls

Offenses score far more points in today’s NFL than in the Marino era

The Saints and Raiders get it

    Most teams do

I’m concerned this year’s draft was a fluke and Douglas will return to drafting defensive players in Rounds 1 and 2 next year

Is it the Johnsons who have demanded they take DL nearly every year?

Are the owners somehow meddling in the draft?

Has anybody heard anything about this type of thing happening?

If so, only an ownership change is going to save us from having Frank Gore, and very unathletic WRs who wouldn’t be starters in many college programs, starting games

OF COURSE it's alarming that the Jets are relying so heavily on Frank Gore. Let's put things in perspective though. The Jets just started a rebuild that will occur mostly through drafting. They drafted a running back: Perine. The running back position isn't a key position in today's NFL. Gore was NOT the problem in the last game. There were a number of problems and the biggest one was probably Gase's play calling. He seemingly has no sense of how to win in the modern NFL. I've been defending Gase, but last week's performance was atrocious. Also, Darnold still has his bad habits and I blame Gase for that.

If Perine is healthy he needs to get a lot of run this year. If he's just a backup scat back then runningback becomes a second round need next year.

Gase said they wanted to take shots deep but they lost Perriman they couldnt. Who you expect to go deep with? They simply dont have the skill guys to do that especialy when they dressed only 4 WR's.

Game plan was rightfully to neutralize their pass rush and to get the ball out quickly.

They didn't go deep even before they lost Perriman. What were they waiting for? Also, Darnold wasn't allowed or just didn't call audibles at the LOS. What's up with that?

We've drafted Frank Gore to protect Walter Payton's record from his mediocre rushing talents.

Jerry Jeudy is sat at 0-2 with the Broncos isn't he?

Problem with that is they came into the game missing alot of that pass rush and when Bosa went down nearly all of it. Gase made no adjustments. He had a handful of plays scripted for the game and never adjusted. Did you notice how the 49ers adjusted to their loss of players.
Gase quits every time theres a change in game.
Edit: why did Gase make the decision to only dress 4 WRs? Stupid decision on his part no?

Jets signing washed up RBs is just business as usual.

Seriously give the dude his due respect. He wasn’t signed to become our savior. He is amazing at what he can still do. Don’t blame him for the Jets failures.

Good lord the only thing worse than than this team's play on the field is the fanbase. We pick an OT with our 1st round pick (who's looking like an absolute stuid), a WR with our second round pick, and an RB and OT in the 4th and all you hear is "Hurdur why do they only draft defense.

If Perine doesn't have most of the carries this week it will be another indictment on Gase's tenure. Gore is a true professional, but there is no way that Perine doesn't offer more big play explosion. If the Jet's have any chance, they need as many big plays as possible.

RIP Gale Sayers! For those of you who never got to see him play, go to the NFL forum and the thread RIP Gale Sayers.. There's a link there to an article that has a video portion that shows clips of Sayers. Or look him up on YouTube. In his day running the ball was the name of the game and he averaged 5.0 ypc. He was grace personified. His vision, instincts, elusiveness were nothing short of amazing, and he was faster than most anyone else in the game including CBs and WRs.

I think the Jets Savior will end up being Woody Johnson...I feel like he may end up retaking control of the team and firing Gase.I think his time as ambassador ends in November..

The fact is that the Jets' roster is still very weak. One year of Joe Douglas at the helm is just a start. So, no, Frank Gore is no savior, but he is helping the team.

    Yes.

Frank Gore should replace Adam Gase as the Head Coach TODAY.

Frank Gore played 0 games last year of 20+ carries. And only 1 game of 2018 with 20+ carries.

But yet Adam Gase force fed him 21x during the 1st gm Bell was sidelined? As a way of proving he never wanted Bell?

What a pos lose Gase is.
