    This is absolutely insane. Doctor punctured his lung before the game on Sunday.

    My brother punctured his lung once.... getting runover by a bus on his motorcycle.

    The thing is he shouldn't have been about to play with cracked ribs to start with, how stupid is that btw?

    Also, how did they not know that Herbert would be more than okay, instead of saying he was struggling with the NFL concept, seems to be doing just fine to me?

    depends on the extent of the crack or cracks. with the jacket they wear u get decent protection. it's a risk though regardless.

    herbert is the real deal and there u go....chargers have had real good luck with Qb's like the colts and packers. first rivers and now herbert.

    shame on the franchise for not being able to win the big one with rivers.
