I miss J Adams, he has a lot of energy, which we totally lacked last 2 weeks. Loved the way he plays.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We have such a toxic culture, we need to fix if we are ever to turn this around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve thrown so many pillows and kicked so many couches over the last 35 years....Adam Gase has made me not care about wins or losses for the first time ever
Jets and Gase getting absolutely eviscerated again by the national media is terrific. Hopefully they keep pouring it on this week.
This was me, I was so heartbroken at losing my dog after 16 years that I said I wasn't getting another and i might not have tbh but after 14 months the wife asked if we could rescue one and i said no but I had blatantly said the wrong thing and she had been looking in secret and we now have had a 3 legged mentalist for nearly 3 years. A year off was maybe good for me.
Ok, so I've watched 2 "football games" (and I REALLY use that term loosely..) with the Jets now, and after the numbness wore off, the only things I can think of are: 1) What a complete cluster fuck this is....nothing else need be said.....EXCEPT........ 2) WHAT THE F-U-C-K IS GASE DOING ?????? Genius? Rain man seems more like it. No, wait, that's not fair. Rain man was smarter than Gase is. Same old shit....different day.
I'm reminded of the Hue Jackson years at Cleveland. The team had so little talent, so little expectation and I watched them anyway as I expected some light relief from the Jets that only the Browns could provide. They made numerous rookie errors, had no stablity or no luck but I remember that they kept fighting and whilst they ran a couple of teams close that they had no right in doing so. Hue Jackson is and was never going to end up with a bust in Canton or even be in that conversation and it was quite evident that the Borwns were in full tank mode but despite the various shenanigans of the players off the field - at least they seemed up for it on Saturdays. I guess what I'm basically saying that right now I'd take Hue Jackson as coach over Gase. Further then that I'd probably see the return of Todd Bowles as an upgrade and a reason to keep watching.
It's clear Adam Gase is in over his head and that ownership has zero clue on how to run a football organization. The latter has been clear for 20+ years
Well 20 yrs bit exaggeration, maybe since 2012ish... last 8 yrs just complete disaster after Rex/Mike T. Bad hires since for sure, only one I liked was JD. that is why so miserable now 8-10 yrs bad drafts! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Easy to play D with no threat deep ball, 8 in the box against 37 yr RB.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've said it before and I'll say it again, love or hate the Rex era, that was some of the most entertaining football in the past few decades for Jets fans. We played with energy...bravado...passion and best of all, we were relevant, people actually feared playing us for awhile. The only thing people fear now are the injuries they will undoubtedly face upon their attempts to crush us into pulp.
I credit Gore for getting the yards he got, they were hard fought yards! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep Dan Patrick called the Jets "inept" and "terrible" this morning. If the sorry play and the evisceration by the national media continues, CJ and JD (if he has any say at all) will have no choice but to fire Gase. Hopefully, it not only continues, but intensifies. I hope they make it personal calling Woody and CJ the worst, most clueless owners in all of sports and humiliate them, such that they sell the team just to escape the abuse.
CJ looks like a fool, with his brilliant statement, and media poking fun of it. So already happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
