    The bounty we could get for the Trevor Lawrence pick would put Gase in the running for best Jets coach of all time.

    I can’t believe it took people this long to realize every “excuse” Gase had was bullshit and he’s actually just a god awful coach.

    Ryan tamehill is playing great after escaping gase’s miserable system. I feel that Chris johnson should Fire gase today in a Hail Mary attempt to save darnold’s career (yes this needs it’s own thread) this needs as much attention as the election god help us with idiots like the johnson’s as owners

    Maybe its the fact that in a decade of losing this is the worst team by a mile, or that i have Yankees/Celtics playing relevant/playoff games.

    But im not making it a point to watch this team every week anymore. I love the Jets, but they just aren't worth the time and annoyance right now.

    They fire Gase I'll see what the product is the next week, but I'm not watching an Adam Gase coached team anymore.

    Why would he fire Gase after calling him a brilliant offensive mind?! We're stuck with him until the end of the season, if not longer.

    We fire Gase now, who takes over the team? The way the D played today it seems like Williams is begging to get fired as well. I'm just speculating here. Gase has to go and get rid of the entire coaching staff. Let the top posters from here take over coaching duties. Anything.

    I suppose Gase will try to say how good they looked on that last drive.

    Darnold finished with 5.6 yds/attempt, but before the last drive he was 15/26 for 105 yds. That's 4 yds per attempt.
    After he was 21/32 for 179 yds. The definition of "stats padding".

    Gase needs to go. Spend the rest of the season trying to save Darnolds career without Gase holding him and the offense back, and then evaluate at the end what to do with the #1 pick.

    Another double digits loss by Gase. No one to spin it, his days as HC are numbered. Someday he’ll be a OC...all teams go through injuries and obstacles. If the Jets are not ranked 32nd, it shall be investigated.
