    Because everyone expects a play call intended to stretch out the field at least 10 yards in that spot. Gase totally caught the 49ers by surprise by keeping everyone in a Jets jersey allowed to catch a pass within shouting distance of the Line of Scrimmage.

    That's why he's an offensive genius.

    When even the announcer who watches ZERO JETS Football notices how we continually throw 1& 2 yard passes regardless of the down and distance, it really emphasizes the genius that we just do not understand.
