Personally, if the Jets look just as ugly the next two games, I'd just root for an abysmal season as long as we get the #1 pick and Gase is fired. I'm at the point where I believe in Darnold but don't trust this organization to develop him. His career will be ruined by the time the Jets are done with him. Had he been drafted by a more successful franchise, I feel like he could've been developed into a top 10, even top 5 QB. Not a chance with this current situation. Yet again, I feel like the Jets may have to end up starting from scratch. The only way to turn this franchise around at this point is by hiring the right head coach and having him develop the right rookie QB. I'm a believer that JD can make the right moves over the next couple of years between the draft and free agency. I'm just about all out of hope that this will ever happen due to the ownership of this team.
It’s so annoying to be told as a fan that we can’t look at potentially getting Trevor Lawrence when the team itself decided to punt on the year. If they really cared about Darnold then Gase should be gone today and they should be trading for a receiver. Because they’re not doing that i don’t see why it’s crazy to start looking towards what might happen next year.
Where's the Not Satoshi Nakamoto guy (personally i think he's now Jerry Jeudy); he's usually saying fire the coach after a game or two it's always darkest before the dawn!
Normally I get offended by Power Rankings, but the Jets were terrible. The Jaguars and Washington Football team won. The Bengals played close til the end. The Giants showed some promise in the 1st Half. Miami hung around for awhile in New England. Cleveland was worse but played a better Ravens team. Nowhere to put the Jets but #32 this week.
I watched that Browns-Ravens game. I'm not convinced the Ravens are much better than the Bills, other than at QB. I think the Jets were much better than the Browns in Week 1. If the Browns get handled by a bad Bengals team tonight, they'll clearly be the #32 team. That said, the Jets sure look like one of the worst two or three teams in the league this year.
I don't think the jets have ever fired a coach mid season, so I would think they wouldn't buck the trend now. But it's pretty interesting and actually comical that Christopher Johnson opted to make comments backing Gase after 1 week of play. I'm not sure what prompted him to do that given owners don't usually do that, especially this early in the season. I voted for finish out the season and get canned on black monday. This option will come at a cost though as it means Darnold may regress past the point of redemption and if we play the way we did week 1 the rest of the way, we will be getting the number 1 pick. We looked like the worst team in the NFL.
Was this it? https://www.nfl.com/news/jets-owner-christopher-johnson-has-full-confidence-in-adam-gase-despite-mess-in- Post a link if you can.

I’d love to see Gase gone as much as anyone... but if you fire him midseason, who takes over? Everyone says Williams, but he cant run the offense. If Gase goes, Patton Oswalt surely goes with him, so the offense really is left with nobody to run it. Anyone worth a damn, is not coming in midseason to fix this, so once you start the season, especially in our case, ya kinda committed until year end, unfortunately.
The English theologian and historian Thomas Fuller appears to be the first person to commit the notion that 'the darkest hour is just before the dawn' to print. His religious travelogue A Pisgah-Sight Of Palestine And The Confines Thereof, 1650, contains this view: It is always darkest just before the Day dawneth. (i think you're referring to the musical reference; the "dawn" version is very old)
There are coaches that are not currently coaching... maybe they want to get back in the game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
