Seriously Darnold needs someone to throw to badly. so some possible targets?

    Dallas - micheal gallup
They already have cooper making big bucks and drafted lamb who played 57 snaps. they could be willing to part with him

    Browns - ODB
hasn't really produced or been happy there. even with him they put up only 6 points. they have landry still and njoku and a good young WR core

    EDIT:

Bears - Allen robinson has requested a trade and is basically pulling a jamaal adams
Personally i'd give up seattles 3rd rounder to get him. he's only 27 and on his final year so it would have to be a sign and trade where we extend him another 2-3 years. he only cost 10 mil this season and we have roughly 30 mil in cap space currently so easily affordable

Not sure how badly he'd want to come here after playing with Trubisky.

Dallas isn't going to be shipping players away right now. They think they're a SB contenders.

Same thing with OBJ RE: Allen Robinson. He wants to go play with Rodgers or Brees not Sam Darnold.

I love A Rob and would be all for this. I think he's a FA next year but I would give up the pick to guarantee we get him + sign him. Dude is a top WR in this league.

Dude - why would the cowboys trade gallop when unlike the idiot jets, are trying to keep the team loaded while they can. The jets are going to win 3 games this year. They need another WR +

Pretty much. Throw in Adam Gase and we have the perfect recipe for free agent repellent.

    OBJ before the Patriots do.

Throw in the way we treated Osemele and that's strike 3.

I would give up a second round pick for Allen Robinson. I’m assuming the Bears can get more than that but who knows, whatever team trades for him is either going to have to tag him or pay him so maybe the price is lower. The problem is with a situation like this you would want an agreement from the player before you trade for him. I couldn’t fathom why Robinson would want to play here.

Yes obviously, but he would have to agree to a new contract or else we'd be taking a huge risk. I don't see anyone willingly agreeing to sign longterm here right now.

Agree, but I also think that this is the kind of player Douglas would be targeting next offseason. Everyone associated with the NFL, from owners down to casual fans, know that the Jets have the worst roster in football. Even though he’d probably refuse to come here, I’d be disappointed if the Jets weren’t even mentioned as being in the mix.

He's one of my favorites, he would help Sam sooo much. 10-15 targets a game easy I imagine. Don't think he would come here unless we back the brinks truck up but worth it IMO. Him with Mimms for years, love it.

If he goes somewhere else for a 2nd rounder or less and it comes out that we didn't even try, I'm done with Joe Douglas.

OBJ and Arob are both 27 now. I would trade a 2 for either of them now.

Its quite a bit, but if you want to give a honest evaluation of Darnold in year three, give him a WR that will take him through year 3,4 and 5.

I would give Seattle's first. He's an elite WR, this draft is a fuck all anyway.

If we're trading anything higher than a 3rd he better agree to a contract extension.

He's a phenomenal receiver. He should've been on the roster by way of the draft though anyway.
