    Lose for Lawrence.

'Tank for Trevor' implies that they're intentionally trying to lose. This team doesn't need to try to lose. They're quite good at doing that anyway.

Keep Darnold. Draft talent to put around him, and please get rid of Gase.

Lol - what if they pass on Lawrence and he’s great. They build talent talent but Sam still stinks. If Sam was a difference maker he would elevate everyone around him. He still gets treated like a rookie and during his presser he sound like he was still a rookie. Bruh - that honeymoon learning stage ended for me at the ghost game. My patients is overloaded right now with him

I’m annoyed because 4 years ago they tanked for Sam - and ruined him.

The Jet coaching staff sucks at developing talent--but Darnold is out of excuses. He is not above blame.

Since he's been here, he has not been a consistent thrower of the football. He has missed way too many easy completions and at the same time making some horrendous decisions. It's almost as if the game has just been too big for him, like he's trying to remember every little thing while he's playing.

With great coaching--perhaps he becomes a solid starter. I do not see him being a dominant QB under any circumstance--the command of guys like Wilson, Mahomes, Jackson, Brees is in a different galaxy. Even guys like Cousins, Carr and Goff are way ahead in terms of command.

A great QB doesn't have you reaching for TUMS every time he's looking downfield--

Bottomline: If we actually are bad enough to get the #1 pick (I still don't think we will draft there) best QB available is the pick. You draft one until you get one. Cards did this and it was the right move. Preferably paired with a new QB friendly headcoach.

Should have been Lamar Jackson. Youngest Heisman trophy winner ever. Turned a Louisville basketball program into a fun team to watch play football on Saturdays. Everyone knew how special he was coming out. Mayfield. Sam. Rosen. Allen got all the media attention and hype but Lamar Jackson was a walking Vick 2.0 type talent with a better personality. I wanted to NOT BELIEVE in Jackson after drafting of Darnold. I wanted to convince myself but damnit man did Baltimore get lucky he fell right into their laps and now they are fire power @ QB.
