Stop with the silly negativism about Cams leadership U like me has no idea how he will handle the Pats or whom ever he goes after the Pats concerning his supposed leadership U get back to me after Cam second win over us this year OK?
Your sig reminded me: the entire Jets - Colts game from 1969 is on youtube Opening music is hilarious, kind of like the Quincy Jones tune used at the beginning of the first Austin Powers movie. Ron
Your humble opinion was not to waste your time talking about the Jets on here, which you then proceeded to do over and over again, you hypocritical lunatic. I couldn't give a fuck if we finish 4th, I will still be here next season unless I die but we will assume that isn't going to happen quite yet.
I spent more time deciding whether or not this was a serious statement than I did how I would reply if it was.
A reason to believe this GM/regime knows what they're doing. Not just blind faith. Which means progress. A surprise quality season. The schedule looks too tough and we've lost too many good players the playoffs looks like too much to ask for but I'm open to being surprised.
All I’m looking for is at the end of November into December when the NFL broadcast stations post the teams in the playoffs at that moment the Jets insignia is finally on the screen. Hell I’ll be happy if the insignia is in the hunt section. That will be something to see
Hope... A word used often in the beginning of most Jet football seasons so 2020 shouldn't be any different. I "hope" for visible improvement on the field and on the sidelines. I "hope" for a better start to the season than last year. Mostly, I "hope" that Joe Douglas has better results than the two idiot GM's that came before him and if that isn't the case, I "hope" Woody Johnson just sells the team.
If I was the GM and traded two first round picks for the #1 overall and Sam Darnold was in the draft I would take him.
Good thread idea! I would like to see: 1. Sam Darnold is established as not only a franchise QB, but one of the best in the NFL. 2. The young guys step up and show their worth like Becton, Quinnen, Mims (when he returns), Davis, Herndon, etc 3. Marcus Maye stays healthy, has a great season, and is extended during or after the season. 4. I'd like to see the Jets look good to the point where future elite Free Agents say, "Hey, if I join this team, we can make a serious run in 2021." 5. Perriman plays better than Robby did in 2019. 6. Bell plays so well that Joe Douglas figures out a way for him to return in 2021. 7. Adam Gase goes extreme one way or another: Either he proves fans like me right and shows he is able to lead the team as a good Head Coach or he completely nose dives and we start fresh in 2021. I don't want to be in the middle. Can't wait for Sunday!
With the lack of WR depth, does anyone think the Jets will utilize a lot of Two-tight end offensive scheme? I feel like Griffin and Herndon could compliment this type of attack.
This Oline will make or break everything....I hope it's make by breaking faces. I wanna see Griffin and Herndon on the field togetherW/Mims, Crowder & Bell out there.. We can be pretty exciting if everything works out.
Maybe a minor point but I'll throw it out there that I also hope our new punter totally kicks ass. Going to be kind of a disappointment if he's not that good.
Adam Gase and Joe Douglas show they are the right guys. As important as we all believe the success of the players are - no one is more important to our success on the field that JD and AG. I pray that Sam Darnold is playing his 3rd year in AG's system next season. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
