With no fans in the stands; much easier for NFL QBs and offenses around the league?

As well as for Sam Darnold and our Jets offense?

We've always heard about the 12th man. Think Seattle. Home field advantage. The fans.

    This year is different.

    Think about it.

Sam Darnold on the road (and home) and crazed fans aren't going nuts anymore. Quietness. Less distraction. Easier communication for the offense within an already offensive driven league. The QB and O-Line communication might be much smoother especially for these younger QBs like Sam. My first thought was poor defenses. Including ours.

I can't lie. I'm scared for our defense. I loved Adams. No Mosley again. Question marks @ CB. Still no improved pass rush and just lost one in Jamal etc. Because of this I'm not looking forward to the season as much as I usually do.

But I am excited about our offense. Sam 3rd year. A Joe Douglas remade offensive line. Darnold in year two of the same system. Le'Veon Bell ready to flourish behind hogs. Herndon @ TE coming back etc.

I predicted a disaster season but if Darnold becomes our great hope I hope we can all enjoy a fun season without Brady there to ruin it on us.

I'm not a fan of the fact that some teams are allowed to have fans (based on the state government) while others can't. It's definitely a win for offenses. It would actually be a win for the Jets, if all teams weren't allowed to have fans. Met Life seats are much more expensive than the average NFL seat (similar location), which leads to more seats being bought by companies and given out as gifts, to non football/Jets fans. It becomes an event to go to. Then you look at a place like Arrowhead stadium, and 95%+ are wearing Chiefs gear. A few years ago I had looked it up, and front row 40/50 yard line tickets were similar in price to Jets' nosebleed seats. Less crowds would take away other teams' advantages.

Yes between no fans, this virus, spending so much time on my daughters schooling 4th grade, being banned throughout the off-season etc my knowledge about this team is less than it's ever been has been a different year of my life our lives in general for the first time since Vinny days I haven't did reading about our training camp reps like I used to. No preseason for me to see these kids with my own eyes. Etc. My excitement level has not been the same and I hope this D proves me wrong with no Adams and Mosley and that we start off 1-0 within a Bradyless division. No Marino or Kelly last time I looked either this time around. 1-0 and my energy will increase.

You're right about fans in the stands for some teams and none for others. Good point never thought about I've just been assuming like baseball and basketball no fans allowed for all teams. Wild.

Outside of the Pats I really want to see Brady fail in TB. And Belly lose his marbles and lose his mind without his QB.
