Very bitter. But loved not feeling the beer gloat. Woke up fine. But the taste really was bitter. I first tried it neat. Then added tried on the rocks.

Lastly I added little bit of coke to it. Nope. Didn't find what I was looking for. But will keep trying. :)

Ask your guy to get you a nip of Widow Jane, that's the sweetest bourbon I've tried (I haven't tried gentlemen Jack or those honey infused bourbon's but I'd guess they're pretty sweet and tame too).

Will do. I want to try Jack Single Barrel next. Will fly to Turkey Thursday night for 2 weeks. Once I come back will get a few nips and try others. :)

The Bourbon purists will rag on them, but the Tennessee Honey Jack and Apple Jim Beam are delicious. They're loaded with sugar and not at all good for you, but taste very good. Not really pure to what it's supposed to taste like though.

Aha. I have Diabetes. I rather avoid anything that have honey or other sweeteners. Thanks for the tip.

Dollar for dollar Jameson’s may be the best whiskey out there.

On a side note, my go-to craft brewery these days is Sloop Brewing, Co.

  13. Love scotch as long as it isnt too smokie in flavor. That said my buddies give me crap cause i like a splash or 2 of coke just for alittle sweetness so i really dig the blended stuff like Clan Macgregor & Dewars. Macgregor is my fav, real smooth nice bite goes perfect w alittle or alot of cola.

Macallan is my fav. single malt

Well, I’ve been known to dunk a rack of Oreos in to an open half gallon milk carton after a few bong hits back in the day if that answers your question

Go to the Jamisen Distillery if you ever get the opportunity. Hands down the best experience of my entire time I was stationed in Germany

Ok, I am late to the party obviously but WTF???

The way to properly drink quality vodka is to put it in the freezer, keep it there for at least 24 hrs, wait till the bottle gets some frost outside (what a beautiful sight), then you pour a shot (never mix), put the bottle back in the freezer, drink. Repeat... :)

Eagle Rare, Old Rip Van Winkle 10, Blanton's, W.L. Weller, Stagg all great bourbons and somewhat difficult to obtain.

If you worry about weight, stick to clear booze like Tequila / Vodka.
