see this is why I can’t buy into your thought process:

That’s not a battle. That’s flat out incompetence like I was saying before. Mental mistakes, poor execution, the whole nine yards. This isn’t prime Revis and Megatron going at it... it’s shitty Revis running around while injured Megatron drops passes.

I don't know how much blitzing GW is calling. He blitzed like 39% of the time last year, which is where our pressure came from. Our starting 3 can't get there. Maybe Q will bring it this year, but that's our only hope.

  7. Then clearly you arent familiar w my stance on any of this.Im on record PRE draft that if Becton was at the Jets pick he should be the pick.applauded the pick then & continue to now. I was opposed to the other 3 OTs bc saw more flaws & less upside to their games.Where i agree w BWS is that Lamb/Jeudy over Becton is not totally outlandish & should at least be a reasonable discussion to have after the fact. Too many on here are so blinded by OL love & WR being an complete afterthought that they shoot anything down within the topic.

The Jets failed again to give Darnold long term weapons to grow w & didnt address depth. So now not only will this be a bottom 5 group AGAIN but the unit wil still be starting from scratch beyond Mims/crowder personnel & development wise entering the offseason. But dont you know? It’s ok bc the OL got fixed & thats more important.

Ask Baker Mayfield. Patrick Mahomes has one of the best tackles in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers? Good line. Brees? Good line. All exponentially better then the Jets. IDK what your definition of truth is, but I suggest doing some research

I suggest you go back a few pages and look at the research I already did that includes actual statistics rather than “Mahomes has a good line”

Its not like a young QB hasn't thrived when they didn't have a lot of weapons. Brady did it, I agree I wish we had more weapons, but sorry I can't get on board with taking a receiver in RD1 in a deep draft, when you can get a OT along with 2 receivers (which we didn't do). Jets had Bryan Edwards right there available in the 3rd.

Fixing the line was more important.

Mitchell Schwartz is one of the best tackles in the NFL today. That alone makes their line exponentially better then the Jets. Eric Fisher held just enough to not get a holding call against Nick Bosa in the SB.

  17. Could be an X’s & O’s thing. Gase couldve thrown in some new wrinkles that caught D off guard yesterday then GW countered w some packages that had the whole O confused resulting in all the miscues.

Im not ignoring the notion that they really could just be this bad of a team hence a horrible practice, just have to take day to day camp performances/box scores w a grain of salt.

Yes I know that. Please go back and read what I posted a few days ago about the worst ranked OLs in the league and how almost all of them had a competent offense with 1k yard WRs... except the Jets.
