#85 Wesley Walker. 1979-1989. Walker was freaking awesome. One of the most beloved jets ever Not sure why my pics are so small. Damn, either too small or too big anyway watch the link below for all FOUR of Walker's touchdowns in that legendary shootout with Miami
dammit we missed number 84 yesterday but thats okay, live life going forward so were onto 83 today which is a better number anyway. #83 George Sauer 1965-1970. One of Namath's favorite targets, 4 pro bowls and a super bowl title. He was very good, but before my time so maybe a grey-beard can weigh in, but apparently Sauer retired in his prime, "disillusioned" by the game of football
#82 Mickey Shuler 1978-1989. The best TE in Jets history, I feel confident in saying that too. 3 time all-pro by way of Penn State.
#81 Terance Mathis 1990-1993. Guys like this give us all dreams we can one day play in the league. Even the poster formerly known as Stokes Mathis actually went on to have a heck of a career in Atlanta
Number 80.. who else? Wayne Chrebet 1995-2005. If you don’t like Wayne Chrebet you can just get the hell out
#78 slim pickin's. Although Matt knows a broader range than I do. I'll go with Barry Bennett DT 1982-1988. Bennett & his wife were recently murdered in their home and police have charged their son, very sad.
#77 Coulda chose a couple guys here but I'm gonna go with Kris Jenkins DT 2008-2010. The guy was awesome in 2008, not sure we've had such a disruptive force in the middle since.
I missed 76, Jumbo Elliott. Damn. Onto 75 Number 75 OT Winston Hill 1963-1976. Hall of Fame Class of 2020
Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Just let me know what day we are on! I just hope we have a season!!!!!
20 days so figured the man with the biggest biceps in the league was worthy of this. Thomas Jones #20 Marcus Maye - #20
I never thought we were getting an elite pass rusher with him. I had seen him play at Wake Forest, and knew he hadn't done much in the NFL with the Cardinals. I never could figure out why people thought they were getting a great pass rusher with him. He was a solid player and teammate, just not a great pass rusher.
