His comment was crass but probably worse is a so-called friend or acquaintance selling you down the river from a private text.
it was weird that she sat on that text for a year before releasing it. but anyways I had never heard "elite white people" used to describe oneself. I hope he has learned from it but I'm skeptical
Basically he (and all of us) have to learn that social media will ruin your life over the most benign/joking things. Be on twitter, instagram, facebook...if you want to express your opinion make sure it's under a different identity. Never express an opinion that goes against what the violent street mob disapproves of. Ever. It can cost you your job and future. Look at what they did to Brees and his wife.
Georgia QB, no surprise ...toldya its a nightmare down there, worst place I ever resided I think his buddy Josh Allen, the other QB from the Bills also got nailed for some racist comments he made a couple of years ago
Who the fck even says 'elite white people'? Something like that is so foreign to me it's not even in my vernacular.
They're young and were joking around. Really not fair to wreck these guys lives over social media banter. They apologized We're all lucky growing up in a pre social media world, a lot of the idiot nonsense my friends and I did never ended up being recorded or saved anywhere.
Social media is insane. Cancel culture digging up 7 year old tweets to ruin people's lives. Remember the stuff that came up about Josh Allen pre-draft.
Herm, lol, we used to call him Preacher Man. It's really a shame for obvious reasons that he didn't work out, but the secondary reason for me is that he was inadvertently hilarious to listen to. It's really easy to like him in retrospect, but I didn't hate him as much as a lot of other people did towards the end. I just chalked it up to woe is me. Again. Because it's all about me. I have to say that video works as to your point even though it's sideways and all kinds of nonsense. Like Herm. Haha.
This sort of stuff will only get worse in the future. Social media has only been going for a relatively short time and already we are seeing people dragged over the coals for something they said years ago. The only sensible thing to do, if you have aspirations to be a professional sportsperson (and probably more) is to not bother posting on these sites, get your head down and work hard. Media types and supposed friends will sell anyone down the river for a fast buck, just don't give them the chance and ammunition.
