Of course he can’t. Which is why I (mistyped) they lose him for half a year, because he can sit out half a year and then one back and his year counts.

 

Especially since this tantrum has come eight months after Adams was indignant over even being mentioned in trade rumors. I'm of the camp he can go scratch this year and dare him to hold out, then next year if he still wants out trade him to some other team not on his list and be done with it.

 

This is why all the people not wanting to trade him in the past were foolish.....it was obvious the guy was a clown and they should have traded him before he started running his mouth....a clown will always be a clown....now im waiting for the crowd to tell me how they should trade him for a clown at WR

 

I’d be happy to help him pack. Even if he signed for a little less than top of the line $, where would we be with Darnold and other guys etc?

Kyle Wilson- Never talked but given his propensity for the “finger wag” after a rare good play.
Calvin Pryor- Major egomaniac, but unlike Revis, he sucked!

 

Zero chance they'd move Cooper. It's more likely to be something like a 1st, 3rd or 4th and Michael Gallup.

And all those players who gambled on cheap one year contracts because a big increase was coming just lost.

 

I think I'd just ignore him. And if he sits out? Just continue to ignore him. Let him sit out.

 

I'd have to say that's probably the route I think they Jets will take.

I’m all for players getting every penny they can get when it’s time to sign a contract. That being said teams have to stop giving into demands of players who are still under contract. You signed a contract honor it! Enough with the BS!

That said the Jets will need good players and Adams was a good player. Joe needs to calm him down make a low cost deal and mollify this asshole. Problem is he and his agent have launched the “I want out of the team” ploy...

Yeah I know. Delusion sometimes enters the mind of a beaten down Jets fan though. The key is not letting this thing drag out into the season because then all the leverage goes to Adams. Got to get something solid in return rather nothing at all.
