Did anyone watch last night? Unfortunately I wasn't old enough to remember much of his career beyond his days with the Wizards, but I was pumped to watch this.

I don't really like when documentaries jump around chronologically, as much as this one is doing. But it's definitely a good watch. I have to believe this one will be similar to ESPN's OJ documentaries and at least grab some Oscar nominations.

Enjoyed it, the nba on nbc on sundays in the late 80s early 90s was appointment television as much as the nfl is today. So anything that takes me back to that time is a must watch.
    Can’t wait till next week,

Chicago Bulls theme song still gives me hella goosebumps.

I figured it would be a "shit on Jerry Krause for the entire series" type of thing

Not sure why he was in such a hurry to end the thing and he should get killed for that but he did a hell of a job putting the pieces for the first run.
Jordan is brutal with him though

So far the best scene was Jordan tip toeing around the cocaine circus question.

He was brutal, MJ would take a shot at him at every opportunity ... "gonna have to lower the rim Jerry". It's amazing how they continued to have a relationship (no matter how ugly) after Jerry wanted the team to lose out during MJs 2nd year when he broke his foot. But Jerry on that long line of people to thank, he was probably what? 4th or 5th on that list? MJ / Phil / Pippen ... heck people think of John Paxton and Steve Kerr before Jerry Krause.

MJ said people will not like him after this documentary, but I always thought he was a douche.

Enjoying it so far. Seems like they could've won 2-3 more titles had egos not gotten in the way.

Imagine telling a coach like Phil Jackson "you could go 82-0 and it's still your last year here". That's fucked.

I was a young kid in the 90's so alot of these storylines I was not aware of. Didn't realize Pippen locked himself into such a bad contract.

The fact that Jordan dropped 49 in G1 vs Boston without attempting a 3 pointer is mind blowing to me. Any guy who drops 45+ now is probably hitting a few 3s. I'm really looking forward to next Sunday.

Random - They expected this to do about a 2. I just heard it was a 6.6

I almost made a thread on this, but wasn't sure anyone else watched. Nice call, @Jonathan_Vilma! I loved the first 2 episodes. It was a great watch. They flew by.
Yeah, same here. Did not realize all of that happened. Funny thing is this dysfunctional team WILL win their 6th title in the end, so it should be fascinating to see how it all goes down.

I can't imagine the Jets starting a season with Joe Douglas saying "This will be Adam Gase's last year no matter what. He can go 19-0 and he will still be gone". Although...... I don't think many Jets fans would complain. :D

Watched show , never had live bball in Australia tv then , but i recall jordan and the bulls. The luckiest team Mate of jordan was longely . Did the team thing and got 3 rings. Not bad for a tall guy from Australia wonder if he was interviewed for doco
The pippen contract was interesting. Suspect he wanted the money for his family so he took what he could get.

Longely was a good role player for the Bulls. He and Rodman were a good duo inside to protect the paint.

Great sports documentary. Probably the best I have ever seen. Can't believe how fast the 10 episodes flew by. Jordan is the best of all-time. No need to debate, but if you want, go ahead. He will take you on!

As a die hard Knick fan I hated the Bulls. The documentary itself is pretty good. I hated Jackson. Figures he wins with the Bulls and Lakers and completely fucks up the Knicks. It was nice to see Chuck Daley's Pistons put a physical beating on them.

I was a die hard Michael Jordan fan since his days beating Patrick Ewing at UNC. I adopted the Bulls as my team once they drafted Jordan and enjoyed those championships as I would’ve for any of my teams. My allegiance to the Bulls ended in June 1998 and I have rooted for them to lose ever since.

It is still mind blowing to me that Reinsdorf basically chose that dummy Jerry Krause over Jackson, Jordan & Pippen plus more titles.

20+ years and that was Reinsdorf's reasoning for not bringing them back? Horrible. You had 20 years to come up with a better reason. They would've won the next year in a shortened season for sure.

Growing up a Knicks fan, I hated the Bulls until Reggie Miller came onto his own. God I hated that dude.

I think they make it to the finals. That spurs team was pretty good though so not sure if they win it all

Jackson with the knicks is exhibit A on why just throwing money at some one to convince them to take a job is a bad idea.

Jackson is proof positive that if you have the best players you can be out coached and still win.

Meh, dudes got 11 rings. I’m not going to try to discredit that because of the talent he coached.
