Poole is the best slot corner in football. Ryan can play both slot and outside corner. Lots of competition for that other starting spot with Austin, Wilson, and Desir.

Man, talk about an upgraded unit. Ryan, Desir, Poole as starters with Bless, Hall, and one of Wilson/Maulet/Hairston/Jackson/Guidry as depth? Night and day from last year. I will say, the CB room is starting to get crowded, I wonder who will be first in line to get cut. Maulet? Hairston?
I'm not a huge fan of this signing cause Poole is your slot cb and Logan Ryan also apparently thrives inside and not outside but hey Gregg Williams gonna be blitzing DBs all day long
I was about to say, Ryan has been primarily a slot cover player. I know he can play some outside but I don’t know if he will be quality outside for a full season. I wonder how much he’s gonna get paid.
well JD certainly provided a lot of options on OL, and now CB, for the coaches to use Next season DE and WR??? is this Trumaine money, Winters or Avery?
To me it’s a little steep and Douglas has been very firm with value. If I had to guess it will be a little lower but we’ll find out.
I think we’re going to see a lot of zone , 2 high with mayes and Davis. Ryan can play outside in that type of scheme.
Good signing, Poole missed 2 games last year, if it happens this signing keeps both guys fresh and healthy, also adds depth.
