Wow. According to Baldy, the Jets really messed this draft up. Every time we picked we missed out on a future hall-of-famer. Fortunately they were all still there for us in the later rounds. lol.
I loved the way Baldy concentrated on how each player did against the the best competition eg Oklahoma, Clemson. Miami, Tex AM and highlighted the strengths TBH, I have a lot of respect for all the Armchair GMs on TGG who could easily done a better job drafting in any year over Mike M/John Idzik...ahahaha That said , Douglas has built 2 Champ teams and does this for a living. Prediction>>60/70 per cent success for Douglas on this draft
Nice to see you temper your enthusiasm for a change, it would normally have been 80/90% on a normal rah rah year
My only assumption at this point can be that the Jets had an all time terrible draft. It’s the only explanation for every analyst and fan both being so excited about it.
Not that I mind it because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy but why is Baldy such an unapologetic Jets homer? He strokes off Darnold all the time (but not wrong when he does it) and this video... I mean you'd think we just secured a title.
I think he’s always like that. One of the reasons he got popular, is he never really pisses off a fan base.
He's just not good. But hey he runs like a stallion so I guess that whole throwing thing doesn't matter.
They'd have to change up the personnel and at this point they're already all-in on making Allen a traditional offense QB that can also run when he needs to. The problem is he always needs to run.
