As far as it goes, Mangini's motivation tactics are fine with me -- as long as the team responds. But using Aaron Pryor really brought back memories. Aaron Pryor was my second favorite fighter (to Ray Leonard). He was the exact opposite -- but he did attack attack attack. As Mangini mentioned, Pryor used to race across the ring at the beginning of the round. Good find by Coach Eric.
I agree with what he is doing this year with all the boxing stuff, but in the future I hope he gets some new motivational stuff.....After a while the team will probably be saying...."Boxing...Again"
chainsaw massacre comes to mind, the killer instict needed to finish or to put a nail in the coffin of opposing teams.
Probably. But Pryor was a great fighter -- certainly the most entertaining to watch. http://www.hawktime.com/
Pryor was very very entertaining....he stopped arguello both time I believe...althoguh career wise, arguello was better....2 great fighters though
the hawk against El flaco......two unbelieveable fights...with the Pryor corner giving Pryor a mysterious water bottle full of ????????/something. Pryor won both against El flaco, but either fight could have been won by either fighter
