So Mo was a DT, I get that. Richardson a DT. Coples was drafted as a DE and played OLB and DE. Then not DTs taken until last year. Thats 3 DTs in 9 years. The comment that I was responding to was the tired old "draft a DT". Nothing about a cb or any other D player, that's a whole different story
Leo Williams was a 4-3 DT turned 3-4 DE. Coples played DT in college before he was moved outside to be a sluggish DE. It's 5 out of 9 dude. Not a happy fact but one that must be reported.
Go piss off. Wake me up when Chase Young becomes A.) An All-Rookie. B.) Pro Bowler x2 C.) All-Pro x2 (First-team 2019). D.) After only his first 3 seasons of NFL play. E.) Mentioned alongside the likes of top 5-10 NFL dominant players. Thread bookmarked and saved. See you then. Lol.
Where they played in college doesnt mean that's where they were drafted to play. Coples was drafted to play DE/OLB. Rex saw him as a OLB. Leo was a DE here and still is with the Giants.
Not to be a pain in the ass, but misspellings can change the meaning of what you intend to write. The correct spelling is "hardon."
So the OP's suggestion would have amounted to Jamal Adams and Mekhi Becton for Chase Young. I wonder if putting it that way, now that the pick has been made, would make the OP second guess himself. Probably not.
Don't assume my meaning, smart ass. I meant it the way I spelled it. If you're not smart enough to get the underlying meaning, at least don't broadcast your ignorance to the entire Jets community.
