Trade Adams for Chase Young? Definitely, but the Redskins would never accept it. Trade Adams and our first rounder for Chase Young? Hell no.

Not only no, but HELL NO!!! Adams is a likely HOFer. Young hasn't done anything in the NFL yet, and I've heard more than one "expert" say that they think Young is overrated and isn't as good as either of the Bosas.

So your plan is the player taken with the 6th overall, a 2 time pro bowler and an all pro and the 11th overall for the 2nd overall and the hope that he'll be what you hope to hell he is.

Because trading the farm for an established, NFL great player, all pro like K Mack, really put the Bears over the top. Didn't it

    . .Adams .and..our #1? . Sure. . And offer Darnold for their #2.

    . .Doug Jolley would approve.

You would make a fine Jets GM for the next few decades with idiotic trades of this magnitude.

I can't believe an entire new thread was started for this lame ass trade idea. Author of this thread is obviously a hardened Patriots fan.

Washington would do that trade for the pick straight up. No doubt in my mind.

And the Jets would be very stupid to do it.

Chase Young for 5 years on a rookie contract for Adams straight up. Sign me up. For Adams and our 1 not a shot in hell.

Adams effects all phases of the game. Chase Young would be on the sidelines 1st and 2nd downs.

Not a chance in hell. He has all the tools to set the edge in the run game and the speed to drop into coverage. His skill set is crazy.

If they trade Adams it would be to support Darnold not draft a defensive player...plus didn't they just over pay Collins?

only way i'd trade adams is for the skins 2nd overall and their 1st next year and trent. then we'd have a stud edge rusher, stud LT, and an extra 1st next year likely top 5

Threads like this give me a headache.

I won't close it because we have only 7 hours to the draft and then it will be put out of its misery.

I don't think so. Adams is a major impact player.

Others have said this, but it deserves to be repeated. What's more realistic is this: "With the 11th pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the Jets pick <top interior D-lineman available>". Jet's fans smash their screens. Then I woke up...in a cold sweat...not from coronavirus. LOL.

Last I checked Safety is also a real position and why give up a pick and Adams for the 2nd pick, let's go a step further you can keep adams and sign clowny and have both and our pick.....

How many years has to go by before people stop thinking this is funny?

2 DTs in 9 years, lets go overboard.

3-4 DE's are interior linemen also. That adds Muhammad Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson and Quinton Coples to the list. That's 5 of the suckers in 9 years. And yes even in a Rex Ryan delusion that's a lot.

We've also taken 2 safeties, an ILB and a CB over that span. 9 out of 11 picks and the offense has gone to mush in the interim.
