How long do we have to deal with our XFL looking uniforms before we revert back to the classic look, or at least something more respectable? The one thing this franchise had going for them was , in my opinion , the best uniforms in the league, especially the Vinny, Curtis , early 2000's era. What we have now is awful and I can't wait until we go back, or even go towards the 80's uniforms with a couple touch ups. Do people ACTUALLY like the uniforms we have now?
The Buccaneers jerseys are basically just their Super Bowl XXXVIII jerseys, and the Falcons jerseys look good, except for that DREADFUL looking ATL. I can't understand who approved that. As for the Jets, I truly don't understand the hate. I thought they looked good when they were unveiled and after watching them in action in 2019, I like them even more. The Green is amazing, the white looks awesome and the stealth black has grown on me the most. Could be my favorite. All 3 look good though. The helmet took the longest to get used to, but I like that too now. I don't know how you can think that, but to each their own. You are not alone, but I really like them.
The unis grew on me a little too. Not great, but not horrible. I absolutely hate the logo on the helmet. I was dying for them to put anything fighter jet related in the logo. It's just their name with a football. Bleh. At least the 80's helmet had the plane swoosh.
I just hate the "Gotham Green", wish they stuck with Hunter Green. The design itself isn't too bad, I'll get used to it eventually. Fully expect in 7-8 seasons we'll go back to the classics, it's cyclical.
Yeah, and some throwbacks too along the way. All to make money. I loved the 1998 jerseys and they will always be my favorite, but with how the Jets have been the last decade, I welcomed a new look. However, as we learned last year: new uniforms, new helmets, new Head Coach, new General Manager, Same Old Jets!
The historic logo is a horse reacting to wearing horseshoes designed like the primary logo. One of those nail holes is right in his toe.
Atlanta upgraded but they essentially went from a D+ uniform to C- uniforms. Why not just go back to ANY of the classic 1966-2004 or so uni's? I understand what they're trying to do their with the Indiana C...but at first glance it just looks like a messy, poorly drawn C Tampa got it right though returning to a classic look. As did Cleveland All these people who wanted the Jets to look like clowns with their outlandish uni designs...look at the trend in uniforms around the league. It's not going in that direction.
I like them for a change. Happy with it for ten years before we go back to our traditional look. Kind of like Cleveland just did. Mind you, Our current unis are way better the what Cleveland just got rid of.
The Colts, hmm. What's that second one, someone sticking their foot up the ass of the state of Indiana? Maybe it's a clubbed foot, I don't know. By the by, it doesn't matter if they ever change Denver's logo again. It'll always look like John Elway no matter what they do. Just sayin'.
The secondary logo is apparently virtually identical to a logo used by a local high school football team a couple of years ago. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/colts-new-logo-design-high-school/49z1lfd4vwpi1w6aurffyzyr3
