The Jets have a much better chance at a WC spot than they do a division title, as much as I would like to see them win it. ANd if Cincy loses tonight, and Jacksonville loses next week, the Jets would have their fate in their own hands as far as the WC goes.
As much as it disgusts me I think I am gonna have to go with the Patsies, I doubt they will drop their last two games which is the only way we have a shot at the division
I actually think a Jags win helps us more than a Pats win. Why? Here is another way of looking at it assuming wins for us in wk 16 & 17: If Cin wins tonight: Den-Cin Jac-NE Den Jac - we'd need NE, or (Jac, Den and Cin, 2 of 3) to lose wk 17. Den NE - we'd need Den or Cin to lose wk 17. Cin Jac - we'd need NE or Jac to lose wk 17. Cin NE - we control our own destiny If Cin loses tonight: Den-Cin Jac-NE Den Jac - we'd need NE or Jac or Den to lose wk 17. Den NE - we control our own destiny. Cin Jac - we'd need NE or Jac or Cin to lose wk 17. Cin NE - we control our own destiny. In all the scenarios, a Jags win over Pats gives us a decent chance to get into the playoffs. We have more win-and-in scenarios if the Pats win, but we also don't get a chance to win the division and a home playoff game. Given how well Tenessee's been playing, I think the risk is worth it.
