Man I was going through my music library and had a holy shit moment. This album I thought was kinda bullshit was super good.
Go with your first instinct. There was the band, .Jefferson Airplane. .They wrote songs like."White Rabbit" & "Somebody to Love." . They turned into Jefferson Starship and wrote songs like "We Built This City on Rock & Roll." I listened to this Club Ninja song "Dancin' in the Ruins" . and when the chorus kicked in it hit me: . Blue Oyster Cult had become Blue Oyster Stardust. "Perfect Water" imagine Rush as a lounge act (and I don't care for Rush - I don't even know what the fuck I'm saying)
Maybe I don’t have the same relation to it that older dudes do. I was born in 1983. I don’t find it cringey but nu metal was my high school soundtrack. That might be the disconnect there. Yeah they have better albums and jams for sure, I won’t dispute that.
