i made a post on here saying I’d be all in on Perriman if the Jets lost Robby lol...I’m similarly intrigued here...with the market seemingly not moving as Robby hoped, now I’m thinking to get both (likely won’t happen)
That was him lol I knew there was another safety, well of sorts anyway, cheers Still, the question remains do we need 5?
These QBs have been the back-up list for what feels like an eternity. I think Drew Stanton backed up Johhny Unitas.
Like the Van Roten signing. Good line bolstering with Van Roten and McGovern. Hopefully Fant turns out serviceable I'd still go ahead and draft another one 1st round. We can go from a bad line to an average one in one offseason
Philly is shopping Rasul Douglas. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2...-cb-rasul-douglas?fv-home=true&post-id=171955 Seems like a logical fit for a 6th-7th swap for the Jets.
Versatility is key so 4 to 5 safeties might be on the roster. I see 4 making the roster with this new signing being the 3rd guy. You want 10 or 11 people in the secondary.
Eh. I'd much rather go after a veteran CB since we have so many unproven and inexperienced CBs such as a Jimmy Smith. Former 1st round CB prospect coming out (2011) and has spent his entire 9 year NFL career with the Ravens consisting of 107 games played/83 starts. A veteran (32 years of age) with postseason experience. Even if not as a starter he'll provide excellent veteran depth with Baltimore Ravens background.
Since then he's at least played in 11, 12, 12 & 9 games. And I don't think he'll cost much at all as an aging veteran.
Apparently a fifth OL has been signed. Josh Andrews who played guard for the Colts. 28 years old signed for depth/back up. I personally have never heard of him.....
I highly doubt we land Clowney. Apparently Seattle is working on a deal now with him for around $18.5 million annually. Fuck that. No way Douglas is paying that money, that's for sure
We can get an edge prospect in round 3 who will improve our pass rush. And, that prospect likely won't have Polite's red flags.
