Yes he had a great game...

But Pennington has got to stop putting his WR's in such bad positions with his throws. He has done this to Coles and Cotchery a few times this year, his running backs, eh.

His INT was horrible, and yes it was a bad shot by Leber, but Chad just has to tuck it down, there were Vikings everywhere.

I agree. He put his helmet in Coles' kidneys -- definite block in the back. I hope the league looks at it.

It would be if we lost a player like, Coles. We would be in a HUGE bind without this guy the next couple weeks. I dont care if the league looks at it either, but it is a big deal regardless.

What's important to me is that he's physically alright. I really wish the teams elaborated more on their padding schemes; and, the medical therapy systems that they use. I've followed the game forever and the only team that has ever talked about that was the Huskers in the 80's as an ongoing consideration.

    AFC EAST Race

This is shaping up like 2002 division race. The Pats magic number is 1. Which means the Jets have to beat both Miami and Oakland and the Pats have to lose to both Jax and Tenneesee. If that happens BOTH the Jets and Pats will be 10-6 overall, 1-1 head to head, 4-2 in the AFCE so it will come down to conference division to determine the winner. The Jets would win it, 7-5 to 6-6Just like in 2002 when the Jets won based on conf record to win the division at 9-7.

I know its a long shot, just because I dont see Pats losing out. However Jax is nasty at home and Vince Young could cause NE trouble with his scrambling. So who knows.

I agree, but I don't think he put Coles in a bad spot here. Coles got hurt after the interception, not going up to get the ball.

Well it might not be a big deal if the league looks at it, it's a cheap shot nonetheless. Lowering your helmet into a guy's kidney is different then putting your shoulder/shoving his back. That's all I'm saying.

Not directly in the back. That is called a clip son. Blatant. 15 yds.

From what I remember form playing organized football for 17 years. A block in the back is a clip, plain and simple.

Even on a defensive int return or whatever.

from what others have wrote it sounds like bruised ribs at worst, that may affect him a little in training this week but if that is the case he should be alrite.
