Wtf is this rambling about? I can make more sense in a post by slamming my face on the keyboard. Jesus Chris this is bad. You are seriously an anchor to the quality of conversation on this board.
looking forward to better future personally, if we're not going to put Quinnen in a position to maximize his talents we should consider trading him ouch
At first I was pretty livid seeing this article as I hated how incompetant Macagnan was a drafter. Thinking more about it, I believe the low grade was earned partially due to bad circumstances and not so much an indictment on the players themselves. Polite was an absolute garbage pick so lets get that out of the way. Quinnen was used to help mask some of our weaknesses on defense and with a top 10 defense this year you cant argue with the results despite how Q was deployed. Lets see what next year looks like for him. Cashman was hurt but looked like he could be an okay enough starter right from the get go. He was a good pick in the 5th. Wesco is tough to say. For a 4th rounder, we probably could have done better. He is kinda raw and I am not sure where he will get to talent-wise as he develops. I already prefer him over Tomlinson so I think we improved slightly there. I imagine though he isnt going to get any good ratings from analysts because he wasnt too involved in 2019. I think the mistake here was taking a blocking tight end this early who wasnt already good in other areas. Edoga seems to be like a backup swing tackle unless he progresses more in 2020. For a late 3rd rounder, I wouldnt say we whiffed here but it certainly doesnt move the needle. Hes definitely a work in progress so its a bit tough to say. Austin really exceeded my expectations. I thought he would be dealing with injuries and not be able to show us anything this year, but he looked better than Johnson or Roberts, two guys than make a 1000 times more than him. All in all, if Cashman, Austin and obviously Quinnen are starters for us and play at even an average NFL level then I think this was an okay draft. Coming away with 3 starters would honestly be one of the better drafts we've had considering most drafts we have 1-2 players still starting or even on the team for that matter. I still dont believe we had the worst draft in the league, even at this point.
Since U really are sillier then I even judged why dont u seat down in a corner & figure it out. I really do not want to make the JWN award winner look sillier then he already does
Yea ok champ, I’m not worried about your teen girl posts making me look silly. Come back when you have something to say about the actual players.
it was a terrible draft. In 2 years Quinnen Williams and the late round corner might be the only ones left in the league
If Austin, Cashman and QW turn into starters than it was an ok draft. However I have my reservations about all three being anything more than average starters. Although I did like Cashman's nose for the ball and tackling when he was healthy. I want to see him do it for a full season before I'm totally sold but he looked good in spots. We really need to have 1-2 impact players from a draft and then 2-3 average starters behind them. Now that's a good draft haul. We're still not close to that yet IMO.
UDFA Kyle Phillips was pretty outstanding this year. Does he count as part of the draft grade or not? I'm asking.
This draft was actually decent. I think the ranking was just lazy. Mac is gone making it an easier target than active GMs. Outside of the Polite pick, how is this draft terrible? If you land a couple good starters and a couple good role players every draft, you are doing great from a draft perspective. We need more of that consistently.
they folded Kyle Phillips into their analysis. What isn't clear is whether they folded in the fact that we didn't have a second round pick looking forward to better days...
