As a Jet Fan I have to root for the 49er s especially their Defense for our future benefit If they find a way to contain all world PM it will clue in our Greg Williams on what type of Defense he would like to construct for our Team going forward. I can't imagine a team with a QB that has only passed the ball 27 times in their two playoff wins knocking off the Chiefs. I just can't. If the Chiefs get off to a fast start for a change I don't see how the Niners can keep up or come back.
Shame on Andy if he gets outcoached by a third year head coach in this Super Bowl. Another thing I can't see happening in this Super Bowl. Mahomes might not only be the best QB in football now he might be the best player in football. The Chiefs get the edge and they're big edges at HC & QB. I think the Chiefs win big. JMO
If you are averaging like 7 yards a carry throughout the playoffs, then you can see them beat the Chiefs. You keep Mahomes off the field and you are killing the clock.
Something tells me that won't happen against the Chiefs D and Garoppolo will have to make some plays.

Jimmy G has a career QB Rating of 100. With a career winning record of 21-5. And a completion percentage of almost 70% (67.5). He's a damn good Quarterback. And he has a great run game behind him too. But Jimmy himself is an excellent QB who's fully developed and now up and coming. The 49ers utilizing a great run game does not take away how good Jimmy Garoppolo really is. They sucked before him and started to win automatically/instantly as soon as he became their QB. 49ers offense ranks 2nd in rush yards. KC's defense ranks 26th against the run. KC's Defense literally has no chance whatsoever of stopping San Francisco's rushing attack, which means Jimmy G is going to have plenty of opportunities to strike. 49ers also have the #1 rated pass defense against a Mahomes 5th ranked passing offense (it will be difficult on Mahomes). San Francisco's pass defense is #1. And let's not forget. KC isn't the only team who can score. So can San Francisco. 49ers actually score more than KC on offense. 49ers = 2nd in points scored (29.2 ppg). Chiefs = 5th in points scored (28.2). Weird how so many football fans overlook that fact while talking up KC's offense. As if San Francisco's offense doesn't score not only just as much, but more. 49ers in a blowout.
KC Broke the record for most touchdown drives that were less than 4 minutes. Unless you plan on controlling the ball for all 60 minutes of the game it doesn't matter how long you keep Mahomes off the field.
That's the beauty of the 49ers offense, they can control the clock with their run game. Their schematics are fantastic. Also, don't sleep on the 49ers defense. Houston did everything they could to lose that game with bad game management.

Hey the Niners could be that good. I went and looked at the final scores for all the 49ers games they didn't get blown out once even their losses were close. They've had a great year. It's just that after coming back from 24-0 down to Houston then 10-0 down to Tenessee Mahomes & the KC offense have a aura, Mahomes has established himself as possibly the best player in the game in these playoffs, KC first Super Bowl since 1970, Andy. It just feels like KC is due. And yes the Niners could be due to get their doors blown off. We'll see.
I feel confident about the Chiefs as time has gone on. I still can't get over the fact that Brees put up 5 TDs against the 49ers defense. That was the best offense they saw all year, and this Chiefs offense looks even better.
