Looking good so far 3-0 late 2nd period. But they were also looking good against the Caps after two periods and we know what happened. LGI keep going for 60 minutes

Scotty Mayfield with another terrible penalty!

WTF? Trotz with his head up his rear end gets a delay of game penalty because he can't get the right people on the ice after a timeout? You can't make this crap up.

And then Mayfield misses the wide open empty net on the penalty kill.

Mayfield... what a "gifted" player he is! Well, at least they managed to win this time...

Those last 5 minutes were terrible but they won 4-2. Have to clean some things up so the break comes at a good time. At least we got a much needed win

Well, at least they didn't go into the weeklong break with three straight losses against the Rangers.

I will take the 2 points but lets be real as I do NOT have a warm fuzzy feeling and dont feel good about the ending of this game. Mayfield has been horrible and he continues to take stupid penalties late in the game

I’m telling you, this is the Mayfield I saw with the Soundtigers. I don’t understand for the life of me why they keep this guy at the NHL level.

Maybe they need to give guys more days off, as healthy scratches.

Trotz in his postgame pointed out this was 7 games in 11 days including 5 in one week. That is a crazy schedule, Team had to be exhausted playing that much. That could explain the 3rd period collapse against the Caps. Greiss got them a point in Carolina and stood on his head last night to get the win. They need to be better after the break and Lou really needs to get them some help (TRADE PLEASE). Overall they have the 5th best record in the league so not too bad. Hopefully they come out of the break ready to go as the standings are tight and every point is huge for a playoff push.

the past 2 weeks were a tough schedule but they have played like this for 20 games so I don't buy the schedule excuse as IMO this team has a great coach a great system but lets be honest not a lot of talent and IMO I would rather not make the playoffs unless the roster gets changed, it will be an early exit if they make no changes

It kind of makes you wonder how this team went 15-0-2 earlier this season. They won't make the playoffs without Lou getting them some help IMHO. Whatever happens I hope the next draft is a good one for forwards. We definitely need someone who can score and who truly belongs in the top 6.

It’s likely going to take 40 points in 33 games to make the playoffs, a pace we are not on at this point.

Interesting idea. Not one I am advocating, but one we could maybe pull off without a huge prospect dump as any team that takes him on would be doing the Wild a favor in clearing that $7.5 million cap hit for the next five seasons. Hell, I'd throw in a prospect if they took Ladd's contract for the next three years. It would still be a net gain for the Wild.

Blue at this point I would take JP Parise as he might be able to crack our top 6

Seidenberg isn't playing as he isn't even signed. He was practicing to even up the D-pairing (8). Team did recall Aho will be playing according to Gross.
