They're one for two in winning decades. This decade is the rubber match.

Two incompetent trust fund boobs who don't really care very much as long as the team is making money (and it is).

    Legacy?

    What Legacy?

Legends are the one's who have and leave behind legendary legacies.

The Johnson Brother's don't have a legacy, they only have existence.

Woody Johnson is a Johnson who is Woody. Chris Johnson is a Johnson who is not Woody. Not sure which is worse.

There's nothing in the definition of legacy that limits it to the positive, which is a good thing. To paraphrase a blues classic, "If it wasn't for bad legacy, they'd have no legacy at all."

How about this Legacy>>>” They Sold the Jets to Bezos at 5xs their initial Investment “

Now that’s what I call a Win Win for Bandage Boys and Fans

I'll give them this: They don't stick with a losing formula very long. They haven't been able to assemble a 'winning formula' (yet), but we're not the Bengals, Bears, others who stay with their formula (8-8 season after 8-8 season) for ever, as long as fans come out to the games.

Johnsons have been willing to rumble thru QBs as fast as HCs and GMs in search for the winning formula. We haven't had Andy Dalton and Marv Lewis 'guiding us' to the same 8-8 seasons for the last 20 years.

They're not good at finding the right team, but they're pretty good a crossing their last mistake off the list and trying again.

The Johnson brothers legacy is who can do a worse job in the day to day running of an NFL franchise. It's a sibling rivalry of the most pathetic order.

We were happy when Woody Johnson bought the team from the Hess family, (rather than Dolan) or does everyone forget that? Who says Bezos is the savior? He could move the team to the moon.

They're better than the idiots who own the Knicks and the Mets.

I am not their biggest fan. But in my 40 years of following the Jets the best Run we have had was 2 AFC championship games under Rex and that was during the Woody Woody era. So say what you will. But compared to the 20 years before them its the height of our success. And yes! that is a very very sad Statement to have to make.

Their worst trait is that they think they know how to run a ball club.

I actually firmly believe that after a decade of thinking they knew what they are doing, they are starting to realize that they in fact do not know.

That's why they went out and hired Casserly and Wolf. Even though they chose friends and robbed the Johnson's, it was a step in the right direction of admitting they need help.

And definitely a step up from the forced Rex and Idzik marriage and all the stipulations that deterred great GM candidates at that time including what to do with Revis and keeping a declining Rex Ryan.

This is Christopher's first real crack at trying to do anything so we'll see how this Douglas/Gase thing ends up.

That could mean that the first round defensive tackle mandate might soon go away though.

the Johnson's are jackass losers. they find failure so easily. Look at the politicians they attach themselves too. Look at what they've done with the Jets. look at the stadium they tried to build and failed on.

Its worse than not knowing anything about football, there are plenty of owners that don't know anything about the game that find success. These people might not know football but they are good at finding the right individuals to lead them there.

the Johnsons though, legitimately don't know anything about how to identity winners & losers in any facet of their lives. This team will always struggle under their ownership

Their legacy as football owners is well meaning buffoons. They aren’t absentee and will spend money but literally everything they touch turns to shit. When they should be hands off they’re hands on and vice versa. Their own instincts are awful but when they do defer to football people like Casserly and Peyton, that doesn’t help

You don’t have to be a football airhead to glam on to the wrong politicians, exhibit A is in Foxboro.

I disagree. I could give lots of examples, but how about this:

After failing to take Mahomes or Watson, and instead taking TWO Safeties, CJ not only doesn't fire Macc, but he gives him and Bowles both extensions! If you needed more proof of his (and Woody's) ignorance, perhaps you ought to look at your own football IQ.

Just because someone pulls their hand away from a flame quicker than some other moron, doesn't mean he's not a moron for sticking his hand there in the first place.
