I agree about the QB thing.

However, when I made this poll McCafferey has almost the exact same stats as LT did through 8 games in 2006 (Allen matched him through 9 games). If you can play at LT level during his top years you deserve consideration. I completely agree McCafferey should still be in consideration.

Mike Evans was on pace to finish with over 1800 yards and 15 TDs after 8 games. Those are Jerry Rice type numbers. But he has been quite the last two games which is enough to basically cross him off the list - considering he is just a WR.

Mike Evans isn’t even the MVP of my fantasy team.

Not quite ready to change to Jackson, but it’s getting close.

These were the odds prior to last night's game.

    Lamar Jackson -1000
    Russell Wilson +600
    Aaron Rodgers +3300
    Michael Thomas +6600

Safe to say that Lamar Jackson is a near lock at this point.

russell has had a bad month and lamaar keeps killing it. Not sure how it's anyone but lamaar at this point
he leads the NFL with 33 TDs and only has 6 INTs. his QBR of 112.8 is 2nd in the NFL behind only tannehill who played only 8 games. and he broke the QB rushing record going over 1000 yards (2nd player to do that in NFL history) and his team is 12-2

In the end, I voted Jackson because of raw production, and I think in that way he deserves it.

But if we are talking about most valuable to a team, nobody is in Russel Wilson's category. When the chips are down the guy can single handedly carry a mediocre offense. Even against top defenses. Hew wont win MVP, but in may ways he is the MVP.

I think this year Jackson was better. Teams weren't prepared for what he was going to do. He deserves MVP this year which is why I voted him. That said I think Wilson is the better QB. That could change over time. But Wilson didn't have a good defense or Ingram or whatever, he balled out on his own. He's special, but Seattle hasn't put the team around him since losing the LoB. They started this year and got a decent receiver, and Clowney play well at times (inconsistent).
