I literally called every game wrong last week. Don’t think that has ever been the case before. I like Ravens and Chiefs big. I do think both the Seahawks and Vikes are for real and capable of winning, but I will say the Niners pull it out at the end. Seahawks are going to ride Wilson to the bowl against the Ravens.
Same, last week I said the stars might be for finally aligning for Andy Reid when they jumped from the 3 seed to the 2 seed. Now they don't even have to play New England either. I think they can handle the Chiefs and will have a great shot to reach the Super Bowl, especially if the Titans pull off the upset.
I think they finally are too. Mahomes got his feet wet with two playoff games last season as well so it'll be a little less of a culture shock for him. They're a much different team and defense now than when they faced the Texans mid season. I think the Texans will still play them close but that is a flawed team that really should've tried to keep Clowney and reacted less drastically on trading for Tunsil. I also think there's a reason Bill O'Brien can't win in the playoffs as I don't think he's this great coach. He had some extremely talented teams that flamed out. They notoriously draft well and make the right signings. It'll be closer than it should be because Watson leads scoring drives when the team needs a score. Plain and simple.
The only safe pick is SF over Minn. The vikes have serious o-line problems and the 49ers have one of the best defensive lines in the game. Its going to be a long day for Cousins. I can see this turning into a blow out early unless the vikes really play over their heads.
Safe, maybe; but anyone who thought they would upend NO at home is lying. Any given Sunday . . . unless you're the Jets, in which case you lose to an absolute dog at the most critical moment. I couldn't find a photo of Joe Walton, the Jets leading nose-picker. Ha, this is better.
Man, give McCown a lot of credit as a gamer. Wentz was already out, and McCown was the only other QB on the active roster. Despite this serious injury, this 40-year-old guy hung in there. That's impressive. From his time with the Jets, we knew he was a good guy, and this should only add to the high regard in which we hold him.
Great games today. As long as Vikings lose, these playoffs will be so dandy for me. Fuck Cousins and Barr. Fuck 'em
I actually think the Saturday games are much better which is unusual ....I'm predicting a bunch of upsets.....Titans, Vikings, KC, Seattle...best bet is KC blowing the Texans out.
They are playing both AFC and NFC first seeds on Saturday for the first time this year. They want to provide them an advantage before next Sunday's Championship games.
Cousins is tossing the ball around like there is tons of wind or something but I don't see any? They need to make sure they're not predictable here with this running game.
They adjusted already. That's a HUGE first down. When the 49ers destroy people they pile it on. The Vikings have already prevented that by moving the ball here.
