I think the Jets should move heaven & earth to get Myles Garrett

OBJ is the hot name again but Garrett is the Browns player the Jets should try to trade for.

A superstud HOF talent IMO. IN terms of talent, motor I put him on the same level as Jamal Adams.

If the Jets could pair Garrett up front with Adams on the back end of the defense that would be a sight to behold.

I would give up two first round picks for him maybe a bit more I think he's that good.

His rookie deal has to be almost up and coming off the incident this past season and the Browns are the Browns who knows? They just might be open to offers for him.

Two first Round picks? Are you kidding? Not with the other holes we have

Frankly, I prefer Douglas devote 60 percent of our FA and 2020 draft to building an Offense with OL and Receivers for your FQB

For the past 10 years it's been the other way around with management getting and overspending for>>>Mo Willk
Shrine Sharon Lee $heldon R and Mevi$...tell me where that has got us??! ..smh

Garrett is a superstud, the real deal and he's what 24? 25? He has HOF talent.

He'd be the edge rusher they've been seeking ever since they traded Abraham to Atlanta.

I remember his first game was against the Jets he's been a Jets killer since day 1.

The Jets should know how good this guy is.

I agree he's good and maybe worrh 2 first rounders for sure. But if they did this the Jets would be absolutely unwatchable. Sure the defense would be great, but the offense would still be worst in the league. If we already had an orline and weren't missing 2 starting WR I woukd think about it. But the fact we only have 4 for sure startwrs on offense plus missing a few on defense, we can't afford to give up draft capitol like that.

Its definitely a double edges sword... i remember being excited for intelligent conversation about FA and draft. Now its becoming just a headache...

I can't agree more. Definitely would love to have him. The offense is just in too much trouble to be able to afford losing that much draft capitol.

With the exception of the Bills, every team in the playoffs has a top 15 offense.

The Jets are second to last in points scored only ahead of the Washington Redskins.

Yet you are posting how the team should give up draft resources that should go towards building up the offense.

The other argument is, how is Khalil Mack doing in Chicago? They still need help on offense even with a HOF game changing defensive player.

I’ll pass on Garret if that’s the cost.

We need as much draft capital as possible to upgrade the OL and skill position players. If we had those in place, I'd be open to trading for a pass rusher.

This is a move that would be lit on Twitter but would win us nothing but back pages....you don't win Super Bowls by trading all your assets away for 1 player then pay him 20 mil...I don't know why people don't get this....this strategy continues to fail over and over again but people just want superstars on their team I guess.

We can close this thread after this post. Well said.

I think this thread also far exceeded it's quota for the use of the phrase "superstud" as well.
