...umm, what was the O/U in that Falcons-Niners game? o.0 Also, this probably guarantees that Niners/Seahawks Wk17 gets flexed into SNF.
2019: 5-11. Ownership: 1 win better than last year = progress! 2020: 6-10. Ownership: 1 win better than last year = progress! 2021: 5-11. Ownership: Progress in 2 out of 3 years!
All I know is Darnold did more with less against Baltimore than what Allen is doing against Pittsburgh.
Cmon man... Just stop already. The Bills are 10-4 thanks to Josh Allen and a killer defense. Give credit where its due. They're a much better team today than the Jets are and apparently better coached too. We stand a puncher's chance against the Steelers and no chance at all against Buffalo on the road. It is what it is..
The Jets probably will beat the Bills if they don't need the game. They most likely are locked in the #4 vs #5 matchup. Even if they beat NE this weekend they would still need the Pats to lose to Miami in week 17 to have a chance at the division. That isn't happening. I could see the Bills resting starters when they play the Jets
You guys will probably see Matt Barkley, TJ Yeldon and Robert Foster week# 17. I don't think we'll beat the Jets since we'll be playing our 2nd unit, but they are good enough to give the Jets all they can handle. Barkley did go 15/25 232 yds 2td 0int against you guys last season, Foster had 7 rec for 104 yds. 50/50 game IMO
They're 10-4 thanks to a killer defense, but Allen is a below-average QB. His passing numbers are virtually identical to Darnold's (better TD/INT ratio, worse cmp% and Y/A), and while he adds value as a dual threat, he also has the benefit of a top 10 OL and a top 5 defense. That defense in particular lets him avoid risky throws because he knows he doesn't have to put up a ton of points. Plus, compared to the rest of the league, he (and Darnold) has gone up against an easy schedule. He still can get better, so he may end up becoming a franchise QB. But if he doesn't improve, his numbers will regress in future seasons.
No credit to our defense huh? Now if Duck Hodges lights the Jets defense up I'm coming back to talk some trash.
He's accounted for 27 touchdowns, he's definitely not below avg......he's right where he needs to be for a 2nd year raw QB. Oh yes.......he's also 15-9 as the starting QB.
Your post is filled with false information. The bills do not have a top 10 oline. Our last few games against Pitt, Balt and NE earlier this year (and others) pressure was in the backfield in under 2 seconds. There was no time to throw and Buffalo was forced to resort to conservative play calling. Allen has not faced an easy schedule. He’s played 7 of the top 10 defenses in the league. He is not a below average QB. If calling a player who’s scored the 6th most touchdowns in the entire league (while facing 70% of the top defenses) below average, you have a pretty odd standard. He is almost the entire bills offense.
27 is misleading, a lot of those are rushing TDs which can also be scored by RBs or passes if your QB isn't a dual threat. And team record is useless for evaluating individuals, Mark Sanchez was 24-14 in his first 2 seasons as a Jet and he was terrible. (Not saying Allen isn't better than Sanchez, only that W-L record is a bad measure.) And Idk why you have to make Allen out to be more than he is, if you're looking for something to brag about, brag about your defense which is elite. Plus there's still a chance Allen can improve and get to the next level.
Call me crazy but I still think Dallas is a huge threat in the NFC. The odds are definately stacked against them in regards to going to the Super Bowl, but if I was San Fran or Seattle, I would definately not want to take a trip to Dallas in the wildcard round. Of course the Cowboys still have to beat the Eagles to clinch....
The 2019 Bills drive Jets fans nuts because they are what the Jets should be. Blowing that Week 1 lead really set both teams in different paths. One team is (10-4), the other is (5-9), but we realize how close they truly are. We also realize Sam is the better QB, so it sucks to watch Allen be on the far better roster and have some consider him better than Sam. Quite annoying. I have said the Bills will be one and done for a long time, but now I am not so sure. That defense is good enough to go to Houston or Tennessee and win Wild Card weekend.
I won't call you crazy. But I do think that whichever team of the MIN/GB/SF/SEA pileup ends up as the 5 seed will murder the eventual East champ. IMHO what they really need to worry about is finishing 6th and having to go to New Orleans (although the race for the byes is a bit of a clusterfuck too).
