Whenever I hear Stephen A and Francessa I change the station right away. Hard listens for me. Kay is close. Sometimes I can last longer. They are all awful. More Evan and Joe and Maggie and Scott and Hahn, Humpty Canty and Rothenberg please.

He's never going to go completely away. He record segments out of his house now (he finally caught up after he laughed at the idea of podcasts and youtube for years, to bad he cant even get 1000 views on youtube because no one outside of NY even knows who he is.)
He said that Joe & Evan should get the first shot at afternoon drive. Also said Evan & JJ would work well. I agree. Why not a combo of Joe, Evan, and JJ? Give them 1-6 and they could make it work.
Nothing from WFAN or locally gets any YouTube hits or downloads it's crazy...my guess is The Fan has a demographic mostly over 50. Lol
It's that and YouTube is a national audience. WFAN is like 90% Yankees and Mets year around. They really like to beat the dead horse around those two teams. Unless you're a fanatic of either team it's hard to stay engaged. Even though I was/am a fan of Francesa's unintentional comedy there is so much Yankees and Mets you can take if you are a fan of neither. I mostly found myself listening in during football season.
Middle of the summer New York radio is absolutely brutal. I listen during football season as well but I had to get Sirius for my commutes in the spring and summer. Francessa will be back in 6 months when no one in his demographic listens to him on Radio.com. Maggie and Bart are brutal. Joe and Evan are unbearable in their whining. Boomer + Gio is great and I like Francessa when it comes to football. They really need to get JJ and Mark Malusis together in a spot together. I think it'd be a good mix and is comparable to Mad Dog and Mike in a way.

You have a curmudgeon-type in Malusis and the high pitched over the top type in Jastremski. It'd work well. I don't understand why anyone thinks or thought Bart Scott is a radio host. And the stations are going to keep trying with him. Especially when 75% of the schedule will be talking about baseball.
I can see Joe and Evan doing well in the afternoon hours. The duo reminds me of Car Talk where one guy was known for his shtick and the other for giving the facts.
