Obviously our talent was not in the same league Obviously we have a “fake” first year head coach Obviously we have key injuries But damn.... we have had over 7 years of good picks and time to turn this shit around to maybe a random playoff birth..... and guess what? we still have no fucking clue zero none we are not in the same reality or construct as the Ravens (or others) I’m not even talking Pats who have the GOAT I’m talking about a scrappy club who picked Lamar 20 plus spots after Sam. And who picked crazy amounts of quality NFL talent over the years. Tonight the message was- stay close, don’t embarrass yourselves But Dear lord will the message ever be, “win the game, make the playoff or else?” I hope the Johnsons fly on the Boeing Max forever
Just as I though I was feeling alright...played in a game and new I was not right... It's always the same, no one's to blame...thats all...
The only hope we have is Douglas. It was a perfect split screen during last night's game when they were showing Ozzie Newsome and talking about his Hall of Fame career ability as a General Manager. His picks have kept Baltimore on top for YEARS. Until we can find our Ozzie, nothing will change. And I am very hopeful that a guy who worked under Ozzie may be our solution. I am counting on Douglas big time this offseason.
I hear ya brother. I'm normally in the "lose the rest of the games camp" at this point but year after year we get high draft picks and we're back to the same point... Idk where the answers are coming from at this point
I can't run. I can't pass. Only thing about us is that we suck ass. Can't run block. Can't pass block. We're just standing here watching Sam get killed.
They just do everything right from an organization standpoint while we do everything wrong. It's super frustrating. My real hope is that we don't screw up this young quarterback because of it, and he's resilient enough to keep firing and doesn't end up thinking like Andrew Luck did in wow this sucks I'm not doing this forever.
He'd laugh at the offer. There's a reason Eric DeCosta (his successor) wouldn't even take the interview here.
Hopefully Douglas turns out to be the real deal. It is our only hope. I know Gase played a part in getting JD here but if our GM wants to make a coaching change then the Johnson's need to let him do it. Looking forward to JD's first full off-season with the draft and FA.
Obviously we could have drafted Mahomes, Watson and Lamar Jackson without trading a pick. Sam is going to be unbelievable as soon as we hire a great HC and put the 85 Bears around him.
Worst scouting in pro sports.Id trust 5th grade kick ball captains to draft better than these imbeciles.
With the injuries we had we definitely still put up a good fight. I thought it was gonna be way worse than it was honestly. We have our god damn practice squad out there. The Smith WR duo was looking pretty decent last night and we actually got something going on the ground which was a huge surprise
I'm replying here for my yearly admiration of your Marty Glickman tribute avatar. What's great about it for me is that I can hear his voice saying your words. Wow would i love to hear his voice call a game again. Even last night's game.
