Spent by a guy who hasn't even been picked up as a scout by another organization. Idzik was hired right away when we fired him to manage the money in Jacksonville. Maccagnan was awful. That's the real reminder that this season has been.
In case you run out of future ideas for a thread... If Jets were owned by Robert Craft. If Jets were a different color. If Jets had their own stadium. If Jets didn't reside in NY. If Jets never were or never was. If Jets would stop defying the law of averages. I hope others can help you further with your important agenda for your upcoming threads, I'm sure you will need to create.
Nope, I don't believe it is. He's gone. He doesn't matter anymore. The guys that hired him, well, they still own the team. That's the true reminder. IMO
I respectfully say to you that your mindset is incorrect. It sucks to be a terribly owned/coached football team. Who gives a flying F what division we are in?
This team would be an embarrassment in the playoffs. I don't see why anyone would want this team to make the playoffs. This is a team that lost to two winless teams. It's a team that has only beaten a single team with above a 0.500 record (now it's below 0.500, but at the time above). A team that just played a real contender and for the first half the best we could say is "well at least they may keep the game competitive" until they got stomped in the second half. I mean, what would be the point to make the playoffs in a weak division with something awful like a 7-9 record?
