Man it is painfully obvious Sam has nothing to work with. 5th string receiver, 3rd string tight end signed for special teams, and a practice squad receiver.
Vyncint Smith and Berrios are two nice finds by Douglas. Smith could turn into a decent deep threat for us, he's breaking some tackles and making some nice plays for us tonight. Berrios fielding punts just looks right.
I still can't get over the taxi-squad WR slacking off in the middle of a deep route that should have been a TD. That's why you are on the practice squad, champ.
Anderson is just not a real good wide receiver. He's ok and he's a three at best. But he just doesn't do anything to help a quarterback out. It's unfortunate that we have no choice but to pay him.
Well tbf, he's not used to how Darnold throws, I wouldn't assume he was dogging it, Like you said, he's on the PS, so he knows he has to put it all out there.
Doesn't feel like anyone is getting open. This team desperately needs an infusion of talent on the offensive side of the ball. If your take from this game is that Sam Darnold is a problem for this team, please do us all a favor and show yourself to the door. Not one offensive skill player taken in the first round in the of the draft since Dustin Keller in 2008
