    Darnold has the easy first down on the 3rd-and-1 play and instead throws late for the incompletion, and then the ridiculous inside handoff with the worst OL in football.

    Sam had first down easily on 3rd down if he ran and opted for the throw to Crowder. I am not playing the result, He needs to get the 1st down that's right in front of him...

    because that would be picking after you have had a look in a crystal ball to see that Jackson was actually going to be this good, one or maybe two people on here thought he was decent and that was it.

    True, but it's where the missed xp is so important. Kick the fg for an 8 point lead. That may have played on Gase's mind.

    These announcers are horrible but he's somewhat right. Either way, he's still open when Sam threw it, it was just a bad throw.

    People also forget that these players don't exist in a vacuum. If we took Lamar and Baltimore took darnold, the players world be developing differently. To say the least.
