Can't wait to read the Studs & Duds thread. I missed the game...stuck here in Philly. Heading up to Croton NY for Thanksgiving.
Was great to watch. If Douglass gives Darnold an OL, he's going to be incredible. And when CJ gets back on D, they're going to be even better.
Its to little to late with this team....this run really doesnt mean much.Other then seeing Darnold get back on track the object is to make the playoffs every year...Christopher Johnson is probably celebrating being 4-7 somewhere right now.Even if we run the tabke with our remaining schedule we would still be a longshot to make it in this year.
Alot of ifs and maybes there....This is the way this team was suppose to be playing all season. It just feels like a wasted year now...
Its going to be a real test to Douglas getting arguably the 3 most important positions after QB in edge, corner, and offensive line. But if we even resolve one of those and at least address the other two areas were going to be a good team.
It's hard to play "like this"... "All season" when your starting QB gets sick and misses what 4-5 games? Yea... Ok. Your post is more suspect and questionable than the one you tried to quote in correction... Unrealistic actually.
Best Jet total team performance this year against a contender while playing with a bunch of youngsters. I’m very happy. Well done Gase and Williams. This, without a bunch of overpaid under achieving free agents (with the exception of CJ) all on injury reserve. Over 25% of the total salary, highest in the league is tied up in injury reserve. We could jettison just about every one of them next year and retool appropriately with real contributors.
I wouldn't call the Raiders a powerhouse, but they are a good team and in the playoff hunt so the domination of them by the Jets today was significant. THIS is how the offense was supposed to work from the beginning. This was a completely different game plan and use of personnel than Gase had been using for the first 7 weeks. Even in the previous two wins, we didn't see the variety of plays, as many designed roll outs and the running plays we saw today. Whatever caused Gase to make these changes is something he needs to remember. And the defense has been stepping up the last few games as well with today being the best so far. Hats off to the whole team!
What about the Dolphins Game? The Patriots Game? The Jaguars Game?Darnold played in those games and through what like 10 ints?WTF do those games have to do with Mono...
I honestly don't know what to make of this team. One week, they look like they don't know a football from their asses and lose to the fucking Dolphins; today they skin the Raiders alive.
