the stakes aren't high. the Jets have already eliminated themselves from playing "stakes are high" games in 2019. maybe the stakes are high for the Raiders who actually have something to play for
The FACT that any of us can even think about " possibly " losing to the Inept Bengals or to the Dolphins for a 2nd time says all you need to know about Adam Gase and the Jets. These are 2 games that there are ZERO reasons or excuses to lose.
I think they are still high for us. I have no illusions about playoffs but a 5 game win streak would mean some momentum and some confidence going into next season. It would in a small way salvage the season and be a building block for next year. It would also create an almost meaningful game against the Ravens.
Hey, that is the NFL. Definitely no excuses to lose those games, and I think the Jets will win, but you never know. Agreed, but it just depends where the Jets are at that moment. The Ravens game is an automatic L, but the other 2 are winnable.

Agree Hope for a win. But Expecting SOJ stupid plays, bad fumble, bad ref calls, no adjustments, and a loss. And the media pundits calling it a decent game because we didn’t get embarrassed at HOME. what a really sad indictment if this happens.
Sam will be playing in typical late Fall NE weather today so this is a good teaching day as well as a barometer.
You have to be impressed with today’s win and it was a good step in the right direction regardless if they don’t make the playoffs. Team played today and Gase and Williams gets huge credit for the win. Moving on to the next game!
Showdown with the Ravens to get back to .500? I’d sign up for that. Darnold just needs to keep playing well to end the season.
